Lucas was sitting by the lake. He was watching the gentle waves and just thinking. He had little Iggy with him.

He was thinking about Layla mostly. How much he loved her and how much he missed her. He knew she needed this, he understood. But he still missed her terrible. He wondered if she missed him. Iggy was running around chasing his tail and nudging Lucas's leg looking for attention. Lucas petted him and rubbed his tummy, smiling at the fox cub.

He lay on his back and closed his eyes, soaking up the warm rays of the sun. So many different thoughts running through his mind. Little Iggy jumped on his stomach, curled up and fell asleep, snoring loudly.

"Thanks, Luke. It's good to know somebody believes in me too" she smiled back. Then she had an idea "I'll just go and grab something in my room, I'm coming right back" she said, running out. She re-entered the room holding a parcel "I wanted to give it to you when Layla was here too but I just couldn't wait. I'm just too curious" she said smiling and holding it out to him. It was a leather-bound album but instead of pictures there were her drawings of the wedding: Lucas and Layla at the altar, Jack's toast, her reciting the poem, Layla and Jack dancing, her and Lucas dancing...
In the bottom page there were notes from all the other friends from back home: she had phoned them all and asked what they would have liked to write on Lucas's "photo" album and wrote it herself.
And she didn't know if Lucas would notice, but in every drawing there was one of their friends from Tree Hill drawn lightly, as ghosts. Every one of them: Haley, Nathan, Brooke, Karen... and Keith had the place of honor, right beside Lucas at the altar.
"It's your wedding gift. I didn't think you'd have pictures of it or anything so I thought you might have liked this" she said.

He took the parcel from her and opened it. He flicked through the drawings. He felt tears slip down his cheeks, they were happy tears. He looked up at her.

"This..... this is just wow. I can't believe you did all this. It's really amazing," he said. He walked to her and hugged her tightly.

He pulled back and gave her a quick kiss, then flicked through the album again.

"It's really amazing. Thank you so much for this."
