I have been following muggle news, as always, and I am feeling a rather overwhelming bit of joy at the start toward removing elected officials that would go against equality and happiness. While I have not ever even considered the possibility of love for myself outside of books, I believe that it should be denied to no one so long as they are legal and consenting. Why should one couple be treated any different than another if they are of age and in love?

On another note, I love that we have gotten right into work in all of our classes. It has been a long summer without magic.

Alright Gryffindor, I've been nice and gave you all a few days of quidditch free fun. But that's all you're getting. This Sunday will be tryouts followed by a practice. Everyone will be expected to do their best, including current members. Because if someone is better, then they're gonna get your spot. I'm making sure that we're going to get take the quidditch cup again this year and continue with the awesome leadership that Misha gave us... only better since it'll be me. I'll see you there.

How's everyone doing? I hope settling back in the past few days has gone well. I'm really happy to see you all again and be back in my dorm, but it's SO strange coming back and knowing that this will be my very last year. How do you just move on from something that's been apart of your life for so long? How am I supposed to do that? Especially since I still have NO IDEA what I'm doing after graduation. Hmph. I guess I don't have to worry just yet. but I probably will anyway
