I cannot say it is a pleasure to be back at Hogwarts, nor would I consider this drafty castle a "second home". However, I am here and that is that. I have learned that one cannot escape their fate. This, I fear I must grit my teeth and soldier on. Classes start back in just a few hours. I did rather well in my O.W.L.s, however that was not shock to me. Thus, my course load is no more smaller than it has been in previous years. I am quite ready for dueling club to start again. Hopefully this will happen soon. Something to look forward to whole here....it's always a welcome change.

Ophelia, I did enjoy our time together last evening. Thank you for your company during the feast. It was pleasant.

Also, I received notification from my father last night after the feast. It's always nice to hear from him.

Father contacted me and informed me of the engagement. He apologized for not catching me before we left. It was a brief discussion, but it is clear what is expected. I just thought I would let you know that I am...at a loss for words. I can see their point, but I am slightly taken aback.

HELLO HOGWARTS!

Welcome back, everyone! And welcome to Hogwarts, newbies! For those of you that aren't aware, I'm Selphie and I'm your Head Girl this year! Michael Meru and I are hoping to get some good things going this year, we have a few ideas up our sleeves that I won't spoil for you all (teehee!)

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm SUPER DUPER excited this year! Phooey on that rumor mill, none of you should take that seriously at ALL, but if anyone wants to talk or has any idea who wrote that, please let me (or Meru) know!
