Yeah, I've seen that. I had a DeLorean once. You would think I would have remembered that, but things got complicated. It was either I did it, or the entire planet would be consumed by a entity from the Dark Dimension.

First, you're trying to make yourself hard to find. Second, I have to keep watch over anyone who might potentially threaten the planet's safety. I don't think you'd do that on purpose, but you're on my mystical watch list. Last, it's very easy for me to follow someone's steps through the astral plane and seeing where they've been. Or haven't been.

It's not you I don't trust. It's more like sensing the future potential for someone or something else to manipulate a situation and take advantage of your powers. Sometimes I get insights that are like a date with destiny, and it's not always clear why or what the outcome is going to be.

I see. That's a problem. In more than one way, because those Life Model Decoys are nightmare fodder. I can't track those at all, they don't have a soul, much less an aura.

You probably your own ways of evading capture. If you need to get to a safehouse, come to 177a Bleecker Street. I think very private meeting with Mr. Stark might be in order, too.

I think any of us who have access to any powers, magical or otherwise, should be wary of others taking advantage of the situation.

Should any rogue LMD become an issue again, you have first hand experience on dealing with them. That's invaluable. Incredibly so to everyone on this network, if there is any danger of it happening again. To whatever degree.

The door's open to you. Don't touch anything. At least until we can get you in contact with the one and only Tony Stark.

I definitely agree. I'm not foolish enough to say it won't happen but I can guarantee that if anyone tries it with me I will fight with everything I have to stop them.

If any LMDs show up I'll be sure to handle them. I mean assuming I know they're LMDs.

Got it, I won't touch a thing. Do you think it would be best for me to go there rather than to the hotel?

I hope it won't come to that. In that situation, however, I think you would do what you could to defend yourself. The same as any of us would.

I'm not aware of any way to tell, other than they have no aura, and I have to be on the astral plane to see that. It isn't very efficient.

Yes. I think you should come here. I'll be out helping someone who is somewhere catastrophic, but the door will open for you.

You should't expect a fight from any of us, unless you're putting innocent people in danger. And we both know you aren't the type to do that.

Sitting and waiting is fine. If you can find the kitchens, then it's pretty much the only semi-safe place in the entire house. Help yourself to some tea and anything that looks commonplace and edible. I think there's some cookies. Eat the cookies.

Just don't open the bottom drawers in the fridge.

I'm not responsible for what crawls out of there.

Do you have any coffee? Are you telling me to eat your cookies? Because if that's the case there won't be any left when you get back.

Um, if you've got things crawling in your fridge then I think you need to clean it out or hire someone to do it for you.

Oh right. Yes, there's coffee. Third cupboard to the right from the doorway, second shelf, large black container with a flip top lid. Filters are in the drawer that's near the coffee machine.

Eat the cookies. I know those are safe. If you find anything in styrofoam that smells like rotten cheese and chilies? That would go in the bottom drawer. Something tried to grab at me last time I was getting some sketchy stir fry out of it. Could've be some sort of entity that likes cold places. Maybe it's gone now.

Anyway. I wouldn't ask you to do that. Opening or cleaning in there is kind of like going upstairs. Not advisable and done only when absolutely necessary.

I wasn't offering to clean it, you couldn't pay me enough to clean your possessed fridge. This place is sounding less and less like a safe house by the moment.

Probably. Nothing's grabbed me from the cupboards yet. Just be glad that the coffee's not in that old urn anymore. Wong emptied it so he could fix a crack and I didn't notice....

Better not go there. It's in a new container that's only ever had coffee in it. I know that it's safe.

Oh, the rest of the fridge is safe. Upstairs? Not so much. It's the relics that have a mind of their own. Some of them. I'll get the fridge fixed. I'll put a binding spell in there tomorrow to catch it if I can.

It's like Pokemon. With demonic imps.

It'll be safer until Stark comes to get you.

I'm gonna buy a coffee from a coffee shop, I know that's safe.

Never try to be a salesman, you're doing it all wrong. Honestly I'm tempted to just take my chances at the hotel. I mean Mr. Stark set it all up and he knows some of us are wanted by the government so he's gotta have made allowances for that.

I admit, the house can get a little creepy. I was trying to warm it up a little with a playlist but Wong said it's a waste of time. I should've listened.

You'd think I'd have more finesse, even with a sales pitch. I used to be a surgeon.

No matter what, you'll be fine at the Sanctum. It's one of the most well guarded places on the planet. If you want to go to the hotel? I would't blame you. If you want to stay, there's a library in the downstairs east hallway and the couch is comfortable to sleep on.

The books are only books. They won't do anything.

Yeah, if it's a toss up between a proper bed in a not possessed hotel or a couch in a Sanctum I think I know what I'm gonna go with. No offence. I'm sure it is well guarded but I just can't with creepy right now. I need not creepy and normal.

It's not like it had scary music. Fine. Don't Fear the Reaper was on there, but I thought it was funny because of the "More Cowbell" joke.

And that's probably another reason why my bedside manner was always lacking.

No offense taken. It's understandable. A lot of people probably could use a lot less weird in their lives right now.
