It starts on a Monday. Out of the blue, there's a daisy taped to the front of Clara's locker, with no letter or anything accompanying it.

Tuesday, there's two.

Wednesday, there's three.

So on and so forth until it's Friday, where by this point there's a whole gathering of the flowers on her locker even if they've been ripped down the previous days.

A few days after the fight, after probably the most tense and angry and awkward avoidance the school's seen to date, a mysterious padded manila envelope appears inside Clara's locker. Inside of the envelope is a messily scribbled letter (with what looks like dried tear marks on it, smudging the ink in some places) and a burnt CD with 'please listen' written on it in permanent marker.

Slipped into (hopefully) Gabe's locker during school hours:

Carnivore pitterpats his way down the hall, clutching a squeaky newspaper in his jaws. He growls at a few students that come too close for his comfort but otherwise keeps to himself.

Poe is near her locker, rummaging for some books. It's her study hall hour, but she never actually spends it in study hall. Likely, she's heading upstairs to the library at some point.

Eloise is at her locker as well, fumbling with the combination. She will never get the damn thing open on her first try, she swears. At the moment she's pretty oblivious to the going-ons around her, mind silently cursing the stupid micro closet in front of her.
