FLASHBACK DAY - sept. 24^th-27^th
✦ Pick a decade and go crazy! Bonus points (not actually useable) for non-80s or 90s decades!

TACKY DAY - sept. 28^th-oct. 1^st
✦ Dress your...worst? Absolutely! Dig out your pajamas, your stripes with polka dots and whatever else looks absolutely atrocious.

SWITCH DAY - oct. 2^nd-5^th
✦ The quintessential high school cross-dressing day. Guys, we expect you in skirts and midriff tops.

HOGWARTS DAY - oct. 6^th-9^th
✦ Won by an overwhelming vote. Get your scarves and wands out!

ICly, these are each one day a piece, Monday through Thursday. Friday, after Hogwarts Day, is the Homecoming dance (which will run over the weekend and possibly through the week; the 10th of October and on) and then, after that, the Homecoming game (if anyone's interested in that being threaded, please let us know! We're kind of on the fence about it.). These will be threaded, but logs can also be posted from IRC or what-have-you.

The school is officially open on the 1st, but you are free to begin posting shenanigans (on or off of school grounds, just be sure to tag where at!) today.

Y'know, since we do what we want.

As for tagging, I feel this is a good time to give a little information there.

• Primarily, tagging is left up to the poster of the entry. If you enter a public post, please remember to tag yourself in it.
  
• If your post is in a certain location, please tag it as such. Such as 'location: science lab' or 'location: library'. This also goes for off-campus locations, as well. Such as 'location: 7-11' or 'location: mall'.
  
• If you screw up or mis-type a tag, DON'T WORRY! Just poke a mod and it's easily fixed.
  
• As seen in the Meet & Greet post, faculty get labeled with the 'faculty: NAME' tag and students with the 'student: NAME' tag.
  
• If your scene starts to delve into deeper or possibly 'triggering' territories, please be sure to tag it as such. This really only goes for 'rated: r' or 'rated: x' because anything below that (and even some low-end R-rated activities) are probably going to be pretty normal around these parts. It's unlikely anyone will have to tag a post as X-Rated because anything of that nature is better kept to personal journals anyhow.
  
• Any other tagging questions (or questions at all), just grab a mod and inquire.

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO HERE? ➜ Post logs, new roleplay threads, general shenanigans. Unless otherwise noted, all activity here is IC (in-character). WHAT ABOUT JUST WRITING? ➜ If it's not terribly long, it doesn't need an lj-cut. If it's more than a paragraph or two, please place it under a cut. Writing must be plot relevant (for a specific character or a subplot) and not just something that would normally reside in a specific character's journal. If it comes off like journaling or somesuch, leave it in the journal. Otherwise, share! If it's writing that's set previous to entering the game, that's best kept in a character journal. Just so people don't get confused. Plus, you're able to backdate in personal journals. You cannot do that in communities. ( Learn more about the school and the students! )
