Okay, so I'm not dead. I took an impromptu hiatus. My block lost power for a couple days, which was super fun. But we have power back, so now we can return to the 21st century. So tomorrow I shall be back to my usual form. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Sooo I'm Roz. And I took a few personal days. And I'm about to hit up tags, and start that starter for Lena. But if I owe you a tag, you should link to it here in the comments because I forgot everything I owe because I'm still a little bit high... So. So. I have a hunter now. This is Roz. With character four.

This is Josias White.

So he's twenty three. Homeboy's a hunter, who had REALLY hunger games strict parents. Like they are willing to throw their kids to the wolves, and chance them dying just to make them stronger. That his folks. So he learned not to trust them at a young age. He doesn't trust any of you hunters either, but he's part of the cohesive unit, killing shadowkind and shit. He's mellow most of the time. He's also extremely strong willed despite being indoctrinated into this. So he's kinda trying to mentally resist mob mentality, and not attack people for fun.

He's also a funny guy, who wants to lighten the mood but not TOO obviously, because he doesn't want to get his ass kicked lol. So he needs friends, people who wanna push him around (cough cough, which he'd probably take, cough cough). I also think he's extremely capable of darkness so it'd be interesting to see which path he veers down, since he's set on the right path now, but that's always subject to change.

Okay, so it's evident that I lied. I have a new character. This is Al's little baby bro, Bambi incarnate. He's a protector. He's twenty, freshly graduated protector, right before all that shadowkind ambush shit went down. His original assignment was field work, which was probably for the best. So, this kid, Andrew, is a scrappy little dude. He's small and slender and obviously not super intimidating, but he's fast, and has a wealth of endurance inside of him.

He's the kid that tells beefy dudes 'You wanna go' every time he gets pissed off.

He resents magic, and the way this whole system is set up that pits Protectors into protecting those with magic. He thinks it sends the message that Arcanists' lives are valued more than Arcanist protectors, like they deserve to live for.

He also has a short temper, some built up anger. But he's not a terrible guy. She still has those standards that most protectors do. He can fight, he can protect, he can be selfless, and honorable, and loyal. He's also funny and social, when he's not brooding.

So he needs friends. He needs to learn not to resent arcanists. He also needs people that like fuel his anger. And y'know... other stuff. Lots of stuff.

ok, this is Roz, and this is my second, and probably final character, Suki Lee, otherwise known as Ace. She's twenty six, and has been a member of the order of protectors since she was seven. Both of her parents were Arcane Protectors, and died when she was young, so the majority of what she can remember begins with her being an orphan.

Despite this, Suki is an extremely optimistic person. She's kind hearted and open minded, and believes in the good in people, but she's not naive. She's basically a quiet badass at this point, because I really like the idea of a tiny girl being able to giggle about boys and then cut terrifying monsters down at the knees. So she wears cute outfits, she trains for hours to deal with her emotions, she knows how to use make up, she knows how to sweat it off, she can walk in heels. She doesn't really give into stereotypes because shirking femininity doesn't make you anymore of a badass.

So, she needs friends, rivals, mentors, training buddies blah blah blah.

Her mission is also probably going to be the arcane protector who lurks around with a family. So. Who wants her. I'd choose transmutation, but apparently you don't to pick your own family, blah blah blah.

Okay, i've been told that intros are a requirement, and badgered to do one even though nobody else has. So, I'm Roz. I created the gorgeous transmutation family with Sands. And it's beautiful. So, I have Ozias, who is the third child to extremely militant parents. His mother is the one with the magic, and a dentist, while his father was an arcane protector and I think we decided on some kind of FBI something.

But the family was basically raised like batkids. They were taught that it's important to know how to survive without magic before you can survive with magic. So they've got a lot of nifty little talents. They took the 'deceptively weak' transmutation trope to a whole new extreme, really.

But anyway, onto Oz specifically. He's a pretty smart kid. His field of study in college was biomechanics, because he wants to get into biomechatronics, which is basically the study of the human body, and how you can robotically replace limbs and shit. That was a super short summary that simplifies the study, but he's all over that shit. At least he was before the disappearance of his parents.

But he's also a sarcastic jackass a lot of the time. Basically, this kid's motto is 'Question everything, understand everything.' But he'll also point out how wrong you are through sarcasm. so there's that.
