Hello, Alchemists and vagabonds, your newest newbie is reporting for duty! I'm here to fulfill the role of Lena 2.0, and to usher in another Evoker.

Meet Eugenia a.k.a. "Genie" Byrne.



Genie works primarily as a butcher and occasionally as an electrician; if you need an emergency sirloin or an extra outlet, she's your girl. She's also a committed insomniac so if you're looking a midnight coffee mate, she'll do that too. (And if you're wondering at why there are suddenly crispy fried snails and porcini macaroons in the Azoth fridge...well, just go with it.) Genie is the friendly sort who'll strike up a chat on any topic or volunteer to drive you half across town for the sake of anything from doughnuts to dildos. Need a workout buddy? She's got boxing mitts. A club wingman? There's mascara and a miniskirt in her glove box. Your poodle needs a transplant? Genie knows a guy who knows a guy who knows where to score some canine kidneys.

Hello, Em here again! Ah... it feels like only yesterday I was ushering Xander Cain into the world...

And now I bring you Kenzie Byrne! She's an Evoker, obviously. If you want fun, Kenzie is your girl~ She loves to party and meet new people. It goes along with her 'jobs': she works as a DJ at a few bars, and an impromptu bartender (she pretty much just lets herself behind bars and just starts 'working'), fancies herself a fashionista (sorta runs a half-assed blog), and - of course - party girl. She loves magic (she's found a way to use it in conjecture with her DJing, adding a little zing to the air), and she's open to working with the other families. After all, they're all here and in this thing together and they've all got the magic in them.

Anyway! I'm open to all sorts of lines with her and look forward to seeing any and all threads! :)

Hello all! I'm still getting some of the finer details of the journal set up (like, you know ICONS) but I figured I'd come introduce myself and this kid!

My name is Em, and Willow and MJ showed me this game and I just couldn't resist! I'm bring in Xander Cain here and he's the youngest Cain boy and twin brother to Elizabeth Cain. He's pretty friendly and easy going, likes to engage with others, but also very suspicious and distrusting of the other families (par for the course, really, isn't it?). Other than that, he gets along well with most people.

He's a high school student, and he works as a bus boy in the bar where his oldest sister works. Also, it's Xander or Xan - he doesn't go in for Alex (mostly because his player has a cousin named Alexander who goes by Alex and she likes to keep names separate :D). He's a lot more outgoing than his twin, and he tries to get her to come out of her shell - bringing her around to different functions and with new (for her) people. He's quite protective of her, though he's mostly unlikely to get into fights - he will, however, give anyone who messes with her The Eye.

I think that's the basics? Anything else is more information than anyone who isn't in his family or doesn't know him well enough wouldn't have easy access to~

Anyway! I'm really friendly and would love to plot and scheme (and torture~ mwhahahaha!). I don't currently have a laptop of my own, so I'm mostly only reachable through my email (which I will use on my phone or on my computer at work) and that's walkswithindreams [at] gmail [dot] com. Again, open to all kinds of plotting, and currently have two other potential characters in the brainstorming stages so... There may be more! :)

Hello peoples of the Alchemy world. My name is Irish and I come here with only one character (for the moment. I'm certain more will come). I was part of the Alchemy before this with an Illusionist, which is what I'm bringing here to you in this new revival of the idea!! I work a night job and just got off 7/12s in a turnaround so my hours right now are a little wonky. Shouldn't take me long to get back in the swing of things, though. I bounce back pretty quickly. Now on to my character!! Tatiana Aurelia Zoe Vargas, otherwise known as Taz to everyone but close family (the only ones allowed to call her Tatiana). She is the illegitimate child of the family, born out of wedlock and when her father stepped out on his wife. That didn't exempt her from being kidnapped, however, which is where she met her cousin, Desi. It was Desi who saved her life when she was attacked, which led to Tatiana saving his life as often as possible. She felt beholden to him and watched his back after he helped her survive. The scars on her neck are a permanent reminder of how much she actually owes him. She's a fighter and doesn't really trust anyone other than Desi (and his daughter). She's also Desi's left hand, watching out for the family as the family spy and a sometimes enforcer. She takes no shit and is sarcastic as hell, but in reality, most of it (not all) is a defense mechanism that she uses to hide the fact that she has issues with people. Nightmares plague her sleep and a couple of failed relationships have colored her outlook on love. As far as she's concerned, she'll do what she's supposed to do, get her kicks when she's feeling the need and continue to live under the radar. She does what Desi needs her to do and from there, her life is very low key. She is planning on going to Desi and talking about training Rosa to take care of herself... and possibly try to get rid of that spoiled nature the young woman has. I'm looking for any and all kinds of storylines, and hoping that people like my little observant spy. Hello Hello! :) Kimberly again! (I also play Cristiano) I bring to you Jennifer (call her Jennie ;) ) Byrne-Malone. Obviously she's part of the Byrne family and is an Evoker.

Information can be found at the app but here's the run down.

• She's 20.
• She's in training to become a pastry chef so she loves to bake and experiment with it.  Anyone want to be the taste tester?

Someone mentioned something about a 12 step program for this game. I was going to have just one, and now I have three. whiskey. tango. foxtrot.

Anywhoo, this is Taran Hainsworth, Devon and Meredith's older brother and head of their family and is an Arcane Protector. the family looking after the Ward family. He fought during the recent attack on the estate and though he managed to get his sisters out and got the Wards (as far as he knows) to safety. But he was overwhelmed and captured for a bit of time. He bid his time before finally getting away and escaping. He learned of the gathering at the Manor and is now making his way here.

He's pretty banged up and won't be happy when he hears what's happened with the Wards, his sisters (Meredith WTF?? :D). But he will be glad to be here, and will need to reconnect with everyone.

SO yeah, that's pretty much him.

Hey guys! Jaclyn here and I have a deal for you guys! Three toons in one post!

So first up is Dixie here (Darlene Cross but she much prefers Dixie). She's an AP and works in PR as a way of keeping things under wraps for the community as a whole. She's capable enough in the field, but her strong suit is behind a desk between her aforementioned job and making sure people are prepped and ready for missions. She's a professional, but outside of work, she's got a huge heart and will probably mother hen EVERYONE. (PB: Fo Porter)

Next up I have Travis "Trey" Ward @ testmymight. He's an enchanter and his 'day' job is that of a CIA Asset. So he often does undercover work. He's more introverted than either of my other two new people, but he's friendly enough. Between the enchanter history and his own, he is distrustful but will still attempt to work out with other arcanists. After all, how is anything supposed to be accomplished without someone attempting to move forward? (PB: Garrett Hedlund)

Finally I have Tucker "Tuck" Fawkes @ ilaughatdanger. He a... transmuter? He is totally not working as a vigilant at times and no one should ever suggest that. Nope. More seriously, his day job is as a firefighter, as part of the rescue squad. He's very outgoing, friendly, nice guy that while he is also a bit wary... he knows someone has to make the first move. Someone has to be that guy that's willing to bend and approach everyone. He's a goofball, dork, and you guys are just going to love him. (PB: Jake Gyllenhaal)

Can't wait to get these guys going so feel free to throw all the plot at me!

So. I have a hunter now. This is Roz. With character four.

This is Josias White.

So he's twenty three. Homeboy's a hunter, who had REALLY hunger games strict parents. Like they are willing to throw their kids to the wolves, and chance them dying just to make them stronger. That his folks. So he learned not to trust them at a young age. He doesn't trust any of you hunters either, but he's part of the cohesive unit, killing shadowkind and shit. He's mellow most of the time. He's also extremely strong willed despite being indoctrinated into this. So he's kinda trying to mentally resist mob mentality, and not attack people for fun.

He's also a funny guy, who wants to lighten the mood but not TOO obviously, because he doesn't want to get his ass kicked lol. So he needs friends, people who wanna push him around (cough cough, which he'd probably take, cough cough). I also think he's extremely capable of darkness so it'd be interesting to see which path he veers down, since he's set on the right path now, but that's always subject to change.

Hello, hello! I'm so glad that someone else broke through the four-character theme we had going and went ahead and made that fifth, because it gives me a reason to have MORE and not look completely crazy. :D

Anyway! Callie here. I bring you a Leopold Hunter this time! Not just any hunter, mind you. This girl here is NOAH GALLAGHER'S SISTER. That's right. This is Eleanor Leopold, but she goes by Eirian Gallagher. She's beautiful, right? Like a pretty little china doll!

Hi kids, I bring you this guy here. This dude. The newest member of the DK Crew--the Fawkes. nothing DK, sorry.

Anyway, yes, this is Aden Fawkes, he's the 21 year old Fawkes bro. In a family of such martial law and discipline he's kind of a strange nut to figure out. He's young, a bit brash, a bit cocky, and a bit too loud sometimes. He's a daredevil with a bit of recklessness to him, a jokester and a prankster who is always finding an opportunity to throw out a stupid quip or one-liner. He's emotional and wears his heart on his sleeve. His reckless, daredevil mentality stems from a desire to prove himself to his family, parents and siblings alike. mostly siblings now since... yea.


ANYWAY. He's striving to be the best he can be, while also trying to find his own identity, and separate himself. Not out of embarrassment, but because his siblings are all so unique in their own way, he wants to make sure he doesn't get lost in the lime light. Kind of adventurous, a bit of a nerd, and super outgoing. He's also, as stated, a daredevil and a fighter too. Despite his small stature, he's got a fire the size of the sun in his belly, and has absolutely no quit to him, which can also be what gets him in trouble at times.

I assure you he'll be fun!

As you pass by make sure to give him a hug and a wink. He'll blow into your ear.

Hey guys! Jaclyn here with Dagon Hunt, my Leopold Hunter.

Dagon here is not a very nice guy. He can take or leave the religious aspect of the order on any given day. However, he does wholeheartedly believe in the necessity of killing evil arcanists. But ya know, not before he gets to take them apart. He operates on a pretty basic animalistic level. Enjoys fighting, drinking and sex equal measure. He works at Avalon, a night club, as a bouncer. As a warning, he'll be charming and friendly, enjoying teasing his victims until he decides to start in on the real fun. Yeah, real prince charming this one.

Can't wait to get him into play!

Hey everyone, I feel like I should prefix this by saying I'm Willow, and I have an RP problem... I have yet another character. I swear that for the foreseeable future, this will be my final character. No more for me. For at least a few months. Five is more than enough!

But! I am proud to introduce my fifth baby here: Chloe Gray Deacon. She's a Gray, one of the Conjuration Clan. Not that they know that. The story goes that 23 years ago, eight and a half months before she was born, Bobby Gray had a little sneaky play away from home with her mommy and as a result of that, little Chloe came into the world. Ultimately, Bobby Gray decided to stay with his family (understandably) and Chloe's mother moved them both away so as not to ruin his family life for him though they stayed in touch and she always knew he was her father and knew of her extended half-family even if she'd never met them herself. She knew all their names and bits and pieces about them but had never gotten the opportunity to meet them. Bobby also taught her bits and pieces about magic, giving her enough to start practising and learning herself through doing. He told her about what to do, as well, if she ever felt unsafe and where she could go.

She's a trained lifeguard and a trainee paramedic but after her contact from her dad stopped, she started to worry and when she couldn't get hold of him no matter what she tried, she packed up her stuff to head to Azoth intending on finding out what had happened to her dad and why he wasn't answering her calls.

So here she comes, about to crash into the life of her half-siblings and family who currently have absolutely zero idea who she is or that she even exists. Dramatic fun timez ahead.

Come at me, guys, I need all the lines for her! :D

Hello everyone! My name is Jameson, and I'm looking forward to playing with all of you!

The character I'm entering the game with is Mateo Vargas, the middle of child of the Illusionist family. He's a 29-year old ball of cynicism and snark, possessing little of the charm and magnetism of the other Vargases, but all of the loyalty to his family and their allies, and the others he considers close and important. He's sociable enough if you can deal with all the sarcasm and serious lack of diplomacy. He's a talented pastry chef; the magic of chocolate is undeniable.

He needs all of the lines. Do you need a long-suffering voice of sanity? Want to be snark buddies? Are you a fool enough to have earned the collective ire of the Vargases, or maybe just Mateo in particular? Do you find poking grumpy people with sticks amusing? Hey everyone, Jared here!

This is Felix, one more Cain in the mix that is Necromancy. I've been meaning to intro him, but wanted to get a feel for him before I did so. He's a little bookworm that is riddled with anxiety, and prefers the comfort of books to people. He's nervous around the other families because he doesn't know what all they can do, or if they can be trusted; he also knows that because of his particular brand of magic, others have a formed bias about him. He's going to try his best to make Mina and his parents proud, but knows that he'll really have to work for it in order to conquer his fear of new people.

I'd love to work out some lines for him. He's excited to be in the mix with his family (wassup Cains), but I'd love it if he could have a new friend that would encourage him to break out of his shell. The more friends, the better off Felix will be!

Hello everyone, I'm Jon, new player here and this is 'Jason Graves', an Arcane Protector.

I picked him up as a line request for Alicia Saunders, to whom he was an instructor, lover, and partner for a time before they parted ways (he believed that she would never fully come into her own with him continually at her side so he pushed her away). He comes from a long line of Arcane Protectors and operates as a traveling antiquities dealer as a cover for his fieldwork and an excuse to continually carry around archaic weapons.

He will be returning to the Manor soon as the rest of the Protectors did (since I was not around at the very start I may say he had some sort of assignment/whatever that held him up a bit) and from there, have some drama with Al and go from there.

Which is to say he is very wide open for more lines and further connections. Perhaps an Arcanist he guarded or otherwise worked for either before or during his field work? Friends, other partners, rivals? I'll take it all!

P.S.
This is probably the most beautiful game I have ever seen. Even before picking up this guy I found myself drawn and curious about everything.

Little bit about me. I'm 28. I'm a nurse that works 12 hour (well closer to 15 hour days with commute/report time) days on a medical oncology floor. My schedule is kind of random, as we work three "12" hour shifts, though never in a row. I'm often lurking on aim and in the chat though you can nearly always reach me at my email (aphelionguardian @ gmail.com).

Now for my character! I bring you Max Black, an Arcane Protector. He came to the group much older than normal Arcane Protectors and was allowed into the group under special circumstances that will be explored in game. He's currently on assignment in the manor, so he's up for interacting with everyone!
