Where: Seattle, Washington
What: Kurt Wagner is still missing, and Tommy's drawing of him implies that he's either dead or very, very injured. Cerebro (assuming that Betsy and/or Emma managed to use it) suggests he's not dead and provides a decent idea as to location (can Rory or Corri let me know if this might have happened? :D). So, Logan takes Tommy, Aubrey, and a group of the juniors out to Seattle in order to search for him.
Notes: Seattle is pretty much contained by now but there are still a) the occasional Brotherhood members, and b) police officers and civilians who are looking to harm mutants as revenge for Magneto's rule, and c) other police officers who don't want these unauthorized people wandering around the wreckage. So, NPCs for that purpose = always welcome. I'm trying to structure this mission so that each person's specific powers will need to be utilized... so hopefully we'll achieve that!


( Logan wasn't sure when he'd gone from lone wanderer to the leader of a rescue squad. )

Being the events coordinator, Kimberly took the liberty to completely transform the dorm hallways, classrooms, rec room, kitchen, dining room and foyer into explosions of red, pink and white. The decorating began late during the evening of February 13 and continued into the very early morning hours of February 14 to ensure it was all completed.

Students, faculty members and residents can expect small bags of candy hearts to be hanging on the handles of the doors, each tagged with red hearts with names written in sparkly silver calligraphy. The ceilings in most areas have large hearts hanging down along with red and pinks streamers. The walls have cupid and heart-shaped cut-outs hung here and there and the foyer has bright red heart-shaped balloons.

The rec room furniture was covered in red fabric and the throw pillows were covered in pink material. There are glass bowls of chocolate found practically everywhere throughout the building as well. In the kitchen, when everyone wakes up, there is a pale of heart-shaped pancakes that Kimberly found at the store and heated up. This was mostly so Fred wouldn't have to go out of his way to make so many. There are also some cupcakes and heart-shaped cookies.

Where: Pure, a mutants-only nightclub in southern Westchester
What: In the reign of Magneto, the only clubs that are publicly open are mutant clubs. Unfortunately for MJ, she's not a mutant... but Kim has a great way of getting around that idea.


These days, they kept a bouncer at the door who was checking mutant powers. Sapien interference was a scary thing, especially with the Friends of Humanity causing trouble. Another club had been destroyed a month back with a sapien suicide bomber going in and blowing himself up. They didn't want any of those fuckers coming in.

MJ really felt kind of guilty about doing this. It was deceptive and she was concerned about being caught, but... if she really needed a night of dancing that badly, she had to be willing to take a few risks. She was all dolled up in a dress she hadn't worn in forever, a glittery silver number that was probably just a little too sexy for a young mother. The knee-high black boots were surprisingly pinchy and needed to be worn-in again. Peter probably would have died if he saw her in such an outfit. He put her up on this pedestal, thinking of her as the sweet girl-next-door ... and.. he knew better than to do that. MJ had grown up with a party-girl persona that often got her into a lot of trouble. So sue her, she was tired of being wholesome tonight. She wanted to break the rules, and if that meant sneaking into an all-mutant bar and dancing until dawn... then fine. Peter had May for the night and MJ needed to let loose before she exploded.

"Oh, God!" MJ shrieked, tumbling onto the bathroom floor as Kimberly turned over her purse and shook MJ out of it. "That is so weird, Kim. That is so weird." But... it had gotten her inside the club. Pulling herself to her feet, she mussed her hair in the mirror, checked her lipstick.

"All right. I'm set. Let's do this thing."
