To hell with it. I'll be next door, helping the relief effort. Our house was shaken up pretty badly as well, but we're on the far end of Tortuga. Boys (and lady), Sorry to say, but your summer home's been destroyed.

If anyone needs a place to spend the holidays tomorrow and the next day, The Sign of the Weasel used book store will be open 24/7. Anyone who needs a place to sleep and a hot meal is welcome to come at any time. The shop will be serving supper on Christmas Eve and there will be food available all of Christmas day, as well as places to sleep for anyone who needs it, all free of charge. We've also set up a small stage outside on the patio by the fire pit where anyone is welcome to come read aloud or play music from 6-9 p.m. every evening. The shop is at [address] in London and will be temporarily managed by Judah Low with the assistance of Jasper and Robin Drake.

What rivalry exists between you and she is not my concern. What you do to one another outside this shop and the quarter mile surrounding it is not my concern. But once you trespass with your filth and childish nonsense onto her territory, so do you trespass onto mine.
She is under my protection. This place is under my protection. This is a place of peace, and of safety, and of neutrality. There will be no tolerance for disturbing that. I do not care whether you come in person, whether you send your minions, whether you send your polluting presence through the daily post -- you will not do so again or I give you my word, Cassidy, the deals you will have to make with the dark and crawling things of the underworld to save yourself from me will be worse than what I do to you.
Let whatever protectors you have be wise enough to save you from attempting such foolishness again. I do not play games. This sanctuary will not be compromised. |

Our girl is home. Our Sable-girl is back with the Sign of the Weasel. Where she belongs, if you ask me -- and those whose concern it once was shouldn't be. Asking. Me.
But aside... we're having an open reading and poker game at the shop to cheer her up. We'll call it a week-long... promotion, to show the shop off and see what else we can do with it here. Beginning Monday, we'll have poker tables and mics set up. Come and read or sing anything you want, whether you wrote it or not. And see if you can win a few dollars from the house.
She has agreed to this on the condition that I am dressed as Lady Luck. Though I hear we have the real one around somewhere... |

Got a look around this place. A good enough look. Pretty little girl, one like us, Sable, she's got a bookstore nearby me. She says, tell folks here what you can do, so here I am, telling.
I got a little shop. All the right tools, all the right trinkets. Let's say you need something fixed. I can fix it. It runs on batteries, wires, cogs and steam, hidden traps? I can fix it.
You need something improved? I can do that, too. I can do it for a price if it's something that's really dead, something stone, something metal. I can do it cheaper if it's batteries. So... I'm at [address]. I'm Judah Low. Look for Judah Low. Sable knows where.
