A young man stumbles out of a portal that opens up near The Sign. He's wearing a sort of space suit, with a helmet under his arm. The suit, while it is unmarked, has the look of a military style. No rank or name, or even country is placed on the suit though. His hair is long, and held back in a braid... The braid goes down to his waist. He looks around at his current location.
"Huh. This isn't the hanger." He says quietly to himself, as he brings up his spare hand to rub his hair for a moment. "Damn, I'd hate to be late, I got a big mission planned!" He said, before he looked around a moment more, realizing he wasn't anywhere he even recognized. Just... Where was he? His eyes finally came to rest on the red, blinking sign. "Ask a question? Hey, why not? Where the hell am I?" He asked. |

Roy had never been here before! This place was very interesting, and seemed like the sort of crazy-ass place his son would run off to to hide in, so he decided to ask around.
Especially with that godawful blinking light inviting him to ask a question. Okay then! "I'm looking for someone," he started. "He's about six-four, broad shouldered, doesn't speak much. He used to be famous, but I don't know what he might've done to himself to make himself less recognizable. We've searched everywhere in Amestris, but he hasn't turned up there. I thought maybe he skipped the border into Drachma, perhaps, but this place seems just as likely, and the door is near somewhere he might've discovered it." |

| The Bitch Is Back |

Dante has once again returned to the Nexus. Now that she has made some plans, she intends to carry them out. Even if she isn't quite certain what she intends to do with Sarah yet. Merely use her to manipulate Edward into returning or moving house. Perhaps both.
As it is, she'll not ready to remove the illusion of benevolence quite yet. Even if her question could imply otherwise.
"What would you do if someone who turns out to be unreliable caused the delay of plans you made for an indeterminate amount of time? And how would you punish them if they are someone you have authority over?" |

There's a new Edward Elric in the Nexus. Yes, another one. This one stands about 5'10" and looks like he lost a lot of the muscle mass Edwards are known for. He looks outright average, actually.
He's sitting on one of the benches, legs tucked up to his chest, chewing on his lips before he speaks up quietly. "How do you go about making amends to the dead?" |

"She calls this a Retirement community?" Dr. Tachyon looked around the Nexus and sighed. "A wonderful place that's peaceful and quiet, she said, near the center of everything. I didn't think she meant literally."
The diminutive man stood by the sign dressed in what for him would be considered rather drab clothing; a victorian style suit of crushed red velvet, a wide brimmed matching hat with pale pink plumes, a snow white shirt spilling lace from the jacket collar and a coral pink cloak. Drab only because it consisted of shades of the same color.
"Ask a question? Alright. I've had a pretty....chaotic....life so far, lots of ups and downs and many sideways as well. What would you consider the strangest thing to happen to you?" |

Zelgadis is reading a book. Surprisingly, it looks to be a novel, of the 'stupid thriller' sort that you occasionally find in grocery stores. He looks to be on the last couple of pages, which he quickly zips through. "So, what do everyone else do when they don't have that much to do? I'm not accustomed to boredom, and I'm finding I don't like it." |

"Oh, my, this is certainly an interesting place." The woman standing there was tall, slender, and graceful, with dark hair and eyes. She held herself in a poise that suggested aristocratic breeding and schooling, and her speech was excellent, if harboring a somewhat strange accent.
"Ask a question?" She considered the sign and smiled. "Are there any parents here? How do you cope with having a child with... shall we say, special needs, when you are living in the public eye?" |

| Returning to the nexus |

Fujin wasn't really sure how long she'd been away from the Nexus. Time's a strange thing after all, especially when there are sorceresses involved. The place looked different then what she remembered. She looked around recognizing a few people and thought about going to say hello to them.
Then she remembered where she was. This was the Nexus, of course there would be someone she recognized, maybe even a few of the same someones. This place was like that after all. The real question was would there be anyone here who still remembered her? And how would they know it was the same her that had been there before if they followed the same line of thought she herself just had. Damn this place was screwy.
She walked over to the most familiar thing there, the great big sign directing people to ask a question. She rather liked the sign. It was very much like herself- direct and to the point. Of course last time she had been here she had managed to find some paper and a pen. She felt her pockets and sighed. No such luck.
How do you manage to ask a decent question when you can only get out, at most, a couple words at a time. Well, everything she knew was gone now. So she should probably start with finding some of the basics.
