That's it, they've GRADUATED!

The students sat in their seats, playing with their navy and white caps and gowns. Some turned to wave to friends and family, some whispered with classmates sitting near them, and some slouched in their chairs, ready for the ceremony to start.

It had taken four years, some felt like the time had passed in no time at all, others felt it had dragged out forever. All the winter lodge trips, boy toy auctions, homecomings, proms, dances, parties. The trips to Disney World, California, Australia. The hook ups, the break ups, the scandals. This class had been through a lot together, and this was it. The end. Graduation.

The ties were tied, shoes were shining, dresses were flowing and the coursages left the lingering scent of freshness in the air. It was Senior Prom, four years in the making, and the excitement was palpable.

Sheila had a plan, and it looked like it might pay off. She'd decided to have a party. She and Marty had been broked up for a couple of months now, and Prom wasn't far away. Court would be announced any day, and Sheila wanted Marty to take her. But she knew she couldn't ask him. That was too simple. So she'd thrown this party, and gotten Robert to agree to bring Marty. In return, she had promised that Kara would be there. The tricky part was that Sheila knew Kara wouldn't just come if she'd asked her. So Sheila had to approach Amelia, the girl Marty had cheated on her with, to bring Kara along to the party with her. It wasn't the easiest thing she'd ever done, but hopefully it would be well worth it, she thought, looking around at the tons of kids already in her living room.

The students were pumped, the Knights had won the Homecoming game! The Gym was decorated and everyone was dressed to impress. 

Tonight would be a night to remember.

Luckily Sabrina was able to have her Halloween Bash as planned. None of her preparation had been foiled by Sandy for which she was grateful. Her home had turned into a spooky mansion. Halloween and regular party music played throughout the night.

Three different drink stations were set up. One on the far left of the property for alcoholic drinks, one on the far right for non-alcoholic drinks, and one in the middle for both. By all drink stations were tables filled with all kinds of food imaginable. The entire lower floor was open for guest as were a few rooms on the upper half for those who wanted a little privacy. Anything valuable that could be stolen had been moved to another location off of the estate so that was one thing Sabrina didn't have to worry about.

Everybody who showed up got a Halloween inspired goody bag filled with candy and other Halloween treats. Those who brought a donation of some sort received an additional bag containing a camera and a $100 Washington Mall gift card. People who didn't show up in a costume was given a mask and weren't allowed to enter until they put it on.

Sabrina did one last warm up stretch before she jogged out of her yard. Normally she didn't jog twice in one day, but she was starting to feel restless and if she stayed at home all she would have done was drink wine and read Sweet Valley High books. That was not a habit she wanted to start, at least the wine drinking part.

She turned off of her street and headed toward the park. She would circle it three times before she would go home. Much to her surprise, there was another jogger out. Sabrina figured she would be the only one out. She decided to jog over to them, not caring who the person was. She just needed not to be alone for once. "Mind if I join you?" she asked.

Just a quick announcement calling for nominations for the Senior Class elections to be held next Wednesday 19 September. If you get your nominations in by tomorrow, you will have just over a week to run your campaign. 

The positions we need to fill include:

Treasurer

Class Representative

Sheila surveyed the room where she'd laid out snacks and drinks for her party. She knew a lot of people were probably only just getting over their jet lag, but she was so ready to party. She was a little sad that this would be her last ever back to school party, after all, they were a tradition now, since that first one she'd thrown with Andi back before Freshman year. That party had changed a lot of things, really. It was the night she'd cheated on Marty with Austin, and it was so strange to look back at how things came full circle. Because here she was now, back with Marty, and trying to forget Austin.

"Darcy!" she called out to try and forget her thoughts, "do you think we have enough salsa?"

Sheila was on her way to meet Savannah for a smoothie when she spotted Sabrina. She'd been meaning to talk to her team mate for a few weeks, and she had some time before Savannah would show up. She crossed the street to where Sabrina was, and waved to get her attention.

"I'm loving this heat," she told Sabrina, gently fanning her face.

Let the Junior Prom of 2012 begin!

At her locker, Sabrina looked at her nails and sighed. She had hoped she could wait until Friday afternoon to see her manicurist, but it looked like that she couldn't wait that long. Sabrina Bouvier did have an image to maintain after all. She put the books she didn't need in her locker and closed it. There were only a few days left until she was free of her classmates for a few weeks. She couldn't wait.

She started down the hallway and stopped when she saw one of her classmates. "Have you decided on who you are voting for yet?" she asked them.
