Summary: It's Adam's birthday and he went to work. Clearly, that was a mistake as the Marines come to "arrest" him and bring him to his girlfriend.

Summary: Polyhymnia couldn't sleep and so, went off to her perfect field to play the violin in the middle of the night alone. She was not left alone. First Heaven demanded answers from her and then her father did. Both Zeus and Polyhymnia manage to reach a point they could live with, be it not happily.

( Shhh, sweet priest. I will be okay. I am just a little lost. I have been lost before. )

Summary: Adam grew concerned after reading the text message of Shiri's intoxicated confession of being high and so tried to find out where she was. However, Shiri is in no state to respond and an unreliable narrator, so he calls Mel, and then Nick. Nick is the one who finds her and leads her home.

"Helen, no." Now the first and second, respectively, most often used words that Nick used nowadays. In this instance, from the toddler chewing on a tablecloth edge. She turned around with wide eyes, surprised. She'd been caught!

He had to laugh at the expression and picked her up. "You know better, {princess}. Come on, let's go find Mommy." She babbled her agreement. Right then. Off they went, into the small crowd of people who'd arrived. The party was being held outside, so everything that needed to be off the ground were on big round tables, just out of reach from children and pets. The weather was fair, the grass was soft, and in an added bonus for Nick, Hades was nowhere in sight.

Summary:They are on vacation and have VIP passes to the Louvre from Papa Zeus. Adam is going to see art he has never seen before or only in art history books; Shiri is going for the exact opposite -- to see art she has seen before.

Several tables. Piles of clothes, shoes, CDs, tapes, worn out gym equipment. Differing varities of umbrellas to give them shade. And underneath the biggest umbrella, a little table with a deposit box and a six-pack of Budweiser.

Greg leaned back in his lawn chair, kicking up his feet onto the table, and let out a content sigh. Awwwww yeah. This was the ticket.

He heard a whine down below him and stared down into the pathetic puppy dog eyes of not-exactly-a-puppy dog. Hm. "You want a beer, don't you," he said with a stern frown in Bowser's direction.

The dog said nothing, but continued to stare up at him, as if reminding the god that he held his very furry life in his giant hands.

With a sigh, Greg drained more of his hard-earned beer into the dog's bowl. Fine. Drink, eat, be merry, mangey old mutt. While Bowser lapped his way to a buzz, Greg put his sunglasses on and prepared to doze until he heard footsteps.

Summary: As everyone knows, the don cannot refuse a request on the day of his daughter's wedding... I mean, Shiri brings Apollo what he asks for like a good little sneaky muse and she gets to ask him for one promised favor.

Summary: Val thinks she is going to a self-thrown house-warming party. Little does she know her Miami sisters have other plans -- like a surprise baby shower.

Summary: Lucy hears a “dying cat” in the park and then runs into a certain muse. Lucy apologizes for her part in pissing Apollo off, they play a little catch up and talk technology while trying to figure out Shiri’s new instrument.

Summary: Shiri was mediating while asleep, something few could really even fathom doing. Right as she achieves a moment or maybe hours of transcendence, voices from her past disturb her and ask her very important questions.

( What was all this? Because the real estate market crashed, people were selling their souls now? At least Nick had given her a good reason and hadn't sold his soul to the Devil. Still, idly, she did wonder if she could rebuke Hades in the name of the Lord. Probably not. Sad. )

Summary: Both Nick and Shiri thought they would be alone if they went to the beautiful Greek Orthodox Cathedral. That was not the case, but they were able to have a quiet conversation there just the same.
