Hey all!

I've been scarce around these parts, but not due to any lack of love for the good ship Snupin! My entry for Snupin Showers harkens back to some fun that has been had over the last many years. That's right, it is the return of Candid Captions!! If you do not know about Candid Captions, use the tag or link to view (and add to) any of the past Candid Captions posts this community has so lovingly parodied.

The rules remain the same. Look at the picture under the cut tag and then write a Snupin-y themed caption for it. Please keep your captions Lupin/Snape-focused. You can also use the cut-tag as inspiration, if you need it. Crack away!

Considering the fact that the Darkside challenge is winding down this week (get your stories and art in before June 1!), I thought we could use a bit of a laugh alongside all the dire.

Under the cut is a special edition of our usual Candid Captions. It's work-safe and should be all right even for dial-up. What I won't guarantee is the work-safety of what you all might come up with as a caption! ^_^

Before the fun, an important note: I've decided to take down the unclaimed long prompts for claiming in the Fantasy Fest post on August 15, the same day sign-ups for snupin_santa start. This is so people can reuse their fantasy fest prompts for SS, if they wish. If you are interested in claiming a long prompt in either art or fiction, you must do so before August 15. The short prompts will remain open until the end of the month. Thanks! I hope everyone can understand why I made this change. :)

We had such fun with Candid Captions in the past, I thought we should do one for our 5th Anniversary. And what better choice than a little-used capture from the Snupiny-est movie of all, Prisoner of Azkaban?! You can write a caption just for one character or all the people in the picture. Hi all! Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Americans, and Happy Random Thursday to everyone else!

In chat yesterday, _lore reminded us all of the fun and gigglesnorts that was the Candid Captions challenge this summer. Well, November Meta Month seems like a perfect opportunity to try a few more, so here we go!
