Lupin/Snape Fantasy Fest - Claiming Rules & Prompt Lists!

When you come back to this post, check the end for any added edits. Also, don't forget to read over the Fest Rules if you haven't already.

Please read the following claim rules carefully and follow them. It will help me organize the claims lists (and there are 4!! of them now) and keep my sanity. I will be out for about 4 hours after I post this, so if you have questions, answers will have to wait until then. Also, I will fix the spacing glitches then.

Rules for Claiming a Request:

• The way you should make your claim is to reply directly to this post with a copy of the prompt (including number) in your reply and the word "CLAIM" in the subject line of your reply. First come, first served.

• Claims may be made by anyone, not just members of lupin_snape. I have allowed two proxy claims this year based on members speaking to me personally about conflicts that will keep them away for the entire weekend. Otherwise, there are no other proxy claims.

• ONE claim per prompt; there will be no doubling up. You may put in additional prompts on this screened post in case we start to run low on prompts, but I doubt we will need them.

• You cannot claim your own prompt. *g*

• You may claim one prompt at a time. If you finish your prompt and post the final product before August 31, you may come back and claim another prompt. You may hold only one prompt at a time, but may return to claim new ones as many times are you are able to finish the previous one before August 31.

• Stories should be no less than 1000 words, even for the short prompts. Longer is never a problem. Heh.

• Artists should put in as much time as they feel reasonable. Remember, short art prompts may be sketches.

• You may collaborate on your claims, however, only one person is to make the claim.

• You must fulfill the basic premise of the prompt you claim, although if the prompt gives options or bonuses, you may choose to use or ignore them at will.

• If you are under 18, do not claim a prompt that asks for explicit sex or violence.

• Do no write or draw explicit sex for a prompt that says the requester is under 18. (Don't think that's a problem this year, although some art prompts request certain ratings)

• Stories or art must be posted in either the IJ or LJ community by August 31. ByMoonlight may also be used for R and NC17 stories and art.

• Your story or art must remain exclusive to the community until the end of the fest (September 1). You can post links to your creation at any time, and after August 31, you may post your work anywhere (including - hint - to Moonshadow).

• When you post your story or art, you must include a copy of the original prompt. However, you can put it behind a cut-tag for spoiler purposes.

• These prompts are exclusively for fest participants (those replying to make claims) until after the fest.

• Claiming is open for the duration of the fest, however, all prompts will be available for others to use after August 31.
