+++ 奇跡国 - Miracle Country +++

[After having some time apart and realizing this whole "being trapped in another world" thing wasn't going to be over any time soon, David & Mary Margaret meet once again, managing to scream less this time. They're both so done with all of this, emotionally exhausted from all the new information, the people they can't remember, the fact that everyone around them insists they're happily married and have a family together.

The journal records them as they're back in their old room, going through their belongings in an attempt to have something trigger their supposedly lost memories. Mary Margaret goes through some assorted pictures, some of the two of them together, others with the kids (adopted or not). Her expression turns sadder again, so David goes sit closer to her, glancing at the pictures too. She smiles, getting wibbly again despite her efforts to keep calm.]

We looked so... [She makes a little gesture at the pictures, trying to get him to understand.]

Happy? [He finishes for her, getting the idea. Agrees, too, reaching to take one of the pics and look at it better, silent for a moment] [...] It's all I wanted to have. For us to have.

[Mary Margaret looks up at him, even more visibly emotional at his words. He starts to mumble an apology, but trails off as they just stare at each other... They move at the same moment to kiss, and the moment they do, a wave of light rushes through the air, expanding all across Kiseki. When they break apart, they look shocked.]

Snow...! [He reaches for her, pulling her closer, starting to smile.]

Charming...! [She does the same, holding to him and beaming up at him.]

[They don't even get to the you found me!1! usual lines, they're too busy kissing again.]

[[OOC: And they're back! The True Love's Kiss (TM) power will send a wave of happiness and good feelings all across the island. No grumpiness for a while! The log is a mingle, so feel free to tag each other on your own. Snow & David will have their own tags to hit if you'd like to talk to them.]]

[Kiseki is once again showered in flowers! This time, however, they’re not as varied. White roses are spread over the different islands, and some of them seem to change colors. Are you upset for some reason? Having bad memories? Doubting yourself? Do you have regrets? The flowers surrounding you will seem drawn to you, and change to a deep, almost black purple color. It seems the more the flowers turn purple around you, the easier it is to give in to these dark thoughts, to the point where you might end up unable to even function.


But not all the roses turn the same – if, on the contrary, your thoughts are happy, if you believe in yourself and your friends, if you’re feeling good and optimistic, then the flowers will change to a bright pink. And the pink roses will be able to repel the effect of the purple ones, neutralizing them and turning them white once more.]

[ Night has fallen, stars in the sky, park quiet. Anyone who may find him there will find a small stack of books of varying subjects - biology, chemistry, fairy tales, history, maybe even a vampire romance novel in there somewhere - beside him as he lounges dramatically as if it is the most natural place to be. The journal in his lap, pen in hand, he thinks maybe it's time to do a little research with the ones he shares this prison with.

His writing is neat, precise and his words, even in text, are cordial. ]

I didn't expect recent days to be so enlightening. Yet, it still feels lacking. No matter how much I read, they're just words on a page. There's nothing behind them.

Would you mind sharing your favorite stories with me? Triumphs and defeats, myths and legends, your favorite tales of horror, even of your favorite subject in school. Anything will do, I won't complain.

[ As much as he may explore, his interest lies most with those who have access to this. He can find so much more when dives into the people he thinks change this world more than the world itself. ]

[It's the middle of the night, and Ucchii is a man on a mission. He's carrying a huge platter of inarizushi and trying to look as stealthy as possible, which is difficult when carrying a huge platter of inarizushi. He creeps down the hallway to Doumeki's door and knocks hurriedly, hoping he won't be spotted.]


[ooc: Open to anyone who could be found in Doumeki's place. Others can approach him in the hallway but he won't move from his spot until he has found Doumeki. Currently hiding from Daigo.]

[Happy (belated) CLAMP day, everyone! We're following our tradition and having an event for the date.

This year, it's a memory sharing event. Characters will find that they're holding a feather (or perhaps more than one), and they'll know that this feather contains a memory. It could be anything, big or small, happy or sad, that much is up to you. Now, they hold these representations of their own memories for a reason! They're meant to hand them over to someone else. In doing so, the person they give the feather to will experience this memory in a vision. There's a catch, however; the person receiving this memory has to be someone who didn't experience it or witness it too.

Now, if they decide they'd rather not give it to anyone, they'll realize the memory contained in that feather is slowly fading away from their own memories. They'll forget names, faces, events from the memory, until they eventually forget it entirely. Sometimes the memory fading will be a lot faster, and they'll know they have to act quick and don't have the luxury to be sitting around considering who to trust with it. They'll know that, unless shared with someone, the memory will be forgotten entirely. Or, well, "entirely", as Kiseki would have mercy and return it to them, after several weeks (how much is up to you).

The memory exchange will happen when someone else touches the feather - and it means that, yes, you can force someone to see your memory, or you can forcefully view them yourself. And while feathers with memories only work once and then disappear, they could reappear with the same memory in them later.

Of course, the event isn't mandatory, your characters being affected by it at all is entirely your choice.]

[After work - and having changed out of his bunny suit - Utsusemimaru heads over to the Sakura Park. It's time for him to do some Serious Thinking about his love life, and that includes turning to his friends for advice (and avoiding Daigo at the same time). He wanders all over the park throughout the afternoon, at times talking to himself and gesticulating to the park animals, or buying a comforting ice cream cone only to give up halfway. For a while he tries to figure things out alone, but with the situation getting more confusing the more he thinks on it, he's soon ready to pounce on anyone friendly who crosses his path and beg them to help him sort through his concerns.

Any love gurus out there?]

[It's another day at the school! You could be snoring in the seat way back in the classroom, or frantically taking notes, or meeting up with friends during recess, or getting lunch, or being greeted by friends or family once the day ends.

Maybe you've never been to the school and just felt like checking it out, maybe sign up for a class or get a job in it, or simply be creeped out by the monitor teachers...

Either way, there's plenty to do so go ahead and mingle]

[It's been getting cloudier and cloudier during the morning, and by the time noon rolls by, a big storm will begin, lasting well until tomorrow.

All of Miracle Country will be hit by it, so it might be better to seek out shelter in the hotels or other buildings, and perhaps retreat to the underground tunnels if you still want to hang out with someone during the evening. Or maybe you're Miko you don't mind the rain and the cold and prefer to run outside anyway. Whichever the choice, at last the cafeteria in the hotel will have plenty of hot chocolate ready for anyone caught up under the pouring rain.]

maybe you were just imagining it.

...nah. that's definitely the sound of a kid crying. kinda hard, too.

there's a mousey little boy, eight at the absolute oldest, who seems to be the source of it. he's trying to be hidden, to be unobtrusive and not call attention to himself; hiding in doorways and alleys, behind bushes. it's hard to stay hidden when he's not doing a very good job of muffling his crying.

if he's not crying and hiding, then he's crying and wandering around, overwhelmed and lost. it's less active crying now and more the kind a child does when they've been crying for so long that their body doesn't seem to know how to stop, and continues taking shuddering, sob-like breaths while their noses still run.

either way, he's desperately clutching a plain straw doll, obviously his only comfort. he's kinda dirty, too, once you look properly. not from lack of bathing, but more from a lot of falling and being thrown around in the dirt.

[The 4th wall event continues!



Our old residents and new visitors will now have an opportunity to relax for a while. During the evening and through the night, the park and other places across the main island will be set up so everyone can have a nice time. Under the still stubbornly-blossoming sakura trees, large blankets covered with large cushions shaped like various CLAMP mascots - Mokonas, Kero, the lightning spirit, and others. The skies will be clear, and small, floating green lights like fireflies will illuminate it.

Across the island, a few spots will hold small bonfires, with baskets of food nearby for everyone to share. Even if they're not the type to mingle, people will find themselves outside, wearing pyjamas courtesy of Miracle Country, so they might want to get close and warm up. However, among these bonfires, a few will occasionally be surrounded by butterflies. At that time, a faint, harmless smoke will come out of them, causing those nearby to suddenly feel nostalgic. Perhaps it'll make them miss those who are still not around... Or maybe they'll appreciate the visits from home even better.

Of course, new arrivals could still happen. So don't lose hope just yet. For now, just enjoy the peaceful evening.
