Empire Ants

This is a remake of a previous set that I over-pink-ened (which is now a word, deal with it) when trying to emphasize Toni's hair. I wasn't able to get all of them perfect, if only because she was directly under pink lighting in a few, but I think I did a decent job making the lighting better and the pink in her hair pop without an "everything is in a pink filter" look.

This all began with a random photo my parabatai found wherein Betty's hair looked blue from the lighting. Her Betty happens to be in a relationship with my Toni, which means this line of thinking kinda spiralled out of control and became Betty should dye her hair. But where were we going to find blue-haired icons? Exactly. Thus, I volunteered faster than Katniss when Prim was reaped and these icons were born.

It only took like a week of hand-painting the hair (and occasionally shirts/makeup) and individually adjusting the lighting on some of my previous icon sets to create these. This is a thing sane people do... right?

It's finally finished! Infinite thanks and appreciation to truebornstark for being so patient while I worked on these. ♥ This marks the final set from Riverdale 3.04: The Midnight Club, and thus the third large iconning project I've finished. It features Camila Mendes as Hermione Gomez (young Hermione Lodge) and includes the LARP costume she wore during the episode.

Created upon request/suggestion for truebornstark, these icons feature Lili Reinhart in Riverdale 3.04: The Midnight Club. Colouring and lighting vary quite a bit from scene to scene, but I tried to find a balance between 'probably a vampire' and 'spent too long in the sun.'

Though it's difficult to tell when they're laid out like this, the first five icons are slightly brighter and less pink variations of the five which follow.

This here's the second and final part of Cole Sprouse as FP Jones II FP Jones Jr. in Riverdale 3.04: The Midnight Club. These didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped, thanks in large part to the horrible colouring and shadows in most of these scenes, but I think I'm happy with the outcome overall.

Here's part one of two featuring Cole Sprouse in Riverdale 3.04: The Midnight Club as FP Jones Jr. (That's canon now, apparently, but I'm stubborn and stuck in my ways so I'm keeping the character tag as FP Jones II. You guys know who it means.) Epic kudos to the costume department for a very convincing transformation into bb Skeet Ulrich.

Made upon request/suggestion for truebornstark, but of course free for anyone to use. These took absolutely forever to get right, especially since I've been sick af lately, but I think overall I'm happy with how these turned out. I especially love this half of the set, which didn't give me anywhere near the amount of trouble as the atrocious lighting and colouring in the second half.

This is the second and final set featuring KJ Apa as Fred Andrews in Riverdale 3.04: The Midnight Club - requested/suggested by truebornstark. As with the last one, I encountered some weirdness with shirt colours and have included both aqua and seafom as a result. This is the set with LARP gear~

Additionally, I ran into some weirdness with the brightness levels on icons 218-269 and gave up on making them look good for both my laptop (where they appear too dark in the original state) and phone (where they appear too bright in the alternate form). As such, the bottom of this set includes some brighter alternate versions of those just in case they're too dark as-is.

Incredibly late and I still have Cole, Cami, and Lili to finish, but hopefully these don't disappoint! The colouring and lighting were a bit more of a struggle than on the other sets from this episode, and I'm not entirely certain why. Also, the shirt came out very, very blue in some of these (I think I applied the wrong filter set, oops) so I made two versions of each relevant image - the aqua blue and a more muted seafoam green.
