Entente was decked out for the holiday, from the laser strobe lights throwing creepy shapes onto the dancing masses to the occasional re-play of "Monster Mash" to the orange and green drinks being dished out by the bartenders.

Arrangements for the party had already been made in advance, and while it was understood that no one under eighteen could enter the club at all, those under twenty-one were identified with garish purple ID bracelets so that the bartenders would know not to serve them alcohol.

Most of the Slayers had met at the old Wolfram and Hart building beforehand, where they had gotten a nice, boring lecture from Giles about behaving and remembering their strengths and not getting in fights, all of the things that every Watcher lectures their Slayer about.

But it was Halloween, all the supernatural creepy-crawlies were snug in their sewers, the one night of the year that they stayed home and gave the Slayers, the Scoobies, and the Fang Gang a chance to celebrate. Some of the girls were in costume, some weren't. Inside the club, some of the young adults were in costume, and all the servers were. There were bunnies and devils, nurses, doctors, firemen, every naughty Disney Princess you could imagine, and a hundred other costumes as the sun finally dropped that Halloween night and the party got started in earnest.

Angel owed her for this one. He really owed her. The fact was that she'd drawn the short straw on the pickup and had run into a mess of demons on the way back to headquarters. It was in her job description and she hadn't had too much trouble with the demons, but she was bruised in three places and knew she'd be sore in the morning.

Halloween is soon upon the Scoobies and the Fang Gang. The vampires and demons of the underworld tend to give it a rest every October 31st, which means this may be the last day of rest that our gang gets before things start heating up again! Rumor has it Faith is checking out some of the LA clubs in her spare time, scoping out a possible venue for a Halloween bash, so keep an eye out for details!

There's another ugly rumor floating around in the underground that a new evil is starting to rise. There's nothing solid as yet, but it does cause an undercurrent of disquiet amongst the Slayers who have dreams and any other supernatural creature sensitive to the dark vibes.
