Who: Emorie Tilden and the Angel Investigations team (multiple replies? Yes!!!)
What: Coming back with dinner - for everyone.
When: Tonight
Where: Old W&H HQ
Why: Because everyone needs to eat.
Angel owed her for this one. He really owed her. The fact was that she'd drawn the short straw on the pickup and had run into a mess of demons on the way back to headquarters. It was in her job description and she hadn't had too much trouble with the demons, but she was bruised in three places and knew she'd be sore in the morning.
It had been several weeks since Emorie Tilden had shown up at the former headquarters of Wolfram and Hart looking for Wesley Wyndam-Price... only to be told that the reason he'd hadn't returned her messages wasn't that he was avoiding her but because he was dead. Wes had never been the best demon hunter on the block while he'd been hunting solo, but he was a good man, and a first rate source of information. But what was to be expected from a former Watcher? But now he was gone, and she wasn't quite sure what kept her at Angel Investigations, but it might have been that they needed someone to fill his shoes. Her grandparents were all the way across the country in New York. Her brother was still missing! She figured that maybe she could find him if she had the resources. She knew he was somewhere in California, or he had been... now it was just a matter of finding him.
Tonight she had been doing a weapon pick up. There was a cache of them that they needed. And as they were in the trunk of her car, she wasn't aboutr to remove them. It had taken her most of the early evening, and the fact that she was all bruised now... But they owed her because of the blood. She grabbed a few bags out of the back of her car, taking the cooler under her arm before entering the building and taking the elevator to the appropriate floor. She had only gotten enough for the AI team, but here it was. And she knew that people would come running. It was easier to do it this way than be all formal about it. She smirked waiting a moment before yelling "FOOD!" as loud as she could. She hadn't had to get it, but hell it was late not. And knowing how it was? They weren't going to eat unless someone got it. She didn't add 'and blood.' Spike and Angel would probably already know. She hoped that people came soon - she put the food down on the table. A pained look on her face. Maybe she shouldn't have taken on two at once...
