Who: Sam, Molly, Rogue
What: A crabby mutant, a pissy hunter and an unsuspecting new girl run into a bump in the road.
When: Tonight
Where: Outside of the prison
Warnings: TBD
Molly was uneasy. It was more than just the out of control anger from the other night. It was different. More like a quiet paranoia. Having a new person come to the prison so soon after Val was exposed for being the mole and Vera being eaten and so many people being taken away. The whole thing left Molly twitchy and afraid to reach out to the other girl but she made herself say 'hello' and she made herself offer to pick her up and she made herself to honest about their situation. She did it because to not do those things, to just leave her out there on her own it would be like letting Dick win again. Letting the fear decide how they were going to treat other people and Molly wasn't going to let Dick Roman turn her into a paranoid, selfish person. She would rather try and go down swinging than just sit by and maybe watch an innocent person suffer.
So she made arrangements to go and get her and with Ellis gone and Alcide busy and the rest of her friends either out searching or covering shifts for those who were she was limited in choices of driver/buddy. Well Sam might be her driver for the evening but he damn sure didn't feel like her buddy. Not after their fight and she wasn't looking forward to being trapped in a truck with him all the way into town and back but it wasn't about her comfort. She could go back to not speaking to him when they got back.
Reaching the garage she found Sam already sitting behind the wheel. She got in and pulled the door shut and buckled up without looking anywhere but straight ahead. "Thanks for doing this." The words came out a little grudgingly but at least they came out. Just because he was an idiot who didn't mind getting himself killed didn't mean that she couldn't be civil. Right?
"She said she was by the Welcome sign."
