When Sam was jerked back, there was a rush of fear that passed through him. He was yanked back with enough force, that he thought that he just let a second Leviathan get the drop on him. It didn't matter that he had just seen Molly pour borax over the Leviathan, and he knew she was backing up beside him. He knew how strong Molly was, but she had never used that strength on him. As managed to stay on his feet as Molly pulled him back, and without even thinking, he kept his other arm up, as if to put one more thing between the Leviathan in her. If Molly smearing borax on the damn thing's face wasn't enough of a distraction for Rogue, nothing would work. He watched as Rogue shed her coat and rush, and grab the Leviathan. Sam held his breath and stood his ground until he saw thick black veins pushing more goo out of the open wounds Molly had caused.
What the Hell?
Rogue let the Leviathan go with a gasp, and the creature dropped to it's knees. Now. Sam gripped the machete with both hands and quickly stepped forward. With all of his strength, he raised the machete and brought it down on the Leviathan's neck. It's head dropped with a sickening thud. It wasn't until the rest of the Leviathan slumped forward, that Sam noticed his labored breathing, or his heart slamming frantically in his chest. That could have been so much worse. Sam straightened.. where there was one, more usually followed. And if that wasn't the case, if they left it there, it would reassemble.. but that gave Sam an idea.
"Shit," He panted. After he sheathed one weapon, he picked up his gun and dropped it back in it's holster. "We gotta go. There'll be more. Molly, grab it's head, we're taking it with us." Those were definitely words Sam Winchester had hoped he'd never had to say to a kid.
Without another word, Sam quickly hauled up the headless body of the Leviathan, dropped it into the back of the truck, and climbed back behind the driver's seat. With a turn of the keys, the engine whined, but roared to life. Thank God.
