Penelope rang the buzzer to Shashi's flat at precisely 4 o'clock, dressed casually, but with the dress Miranda had designed and made safely in a garment bag that was draped over her arm. Her shoulder bag had enough toiletries so she could transform into a ballroom beauty later today and it seemed easiest to just do it at Shashi's, as opposed to going back to her flat and then meeting up with Shashi again.
There was a nervous flutter in her stomach as she waited for the MI7 agent and she wondered if turning this information over to Charlie would earn his trust. Forcing away the memory of Charlie, she took a deep breath as she waited for Shashi. |

Saturday night Faith Foundation is doing their annual fundraiser charity ball in London, which is what I hoped you could attend.

The showroom had been prepared for both the presentation and the small catwalk shows--really just cleared areas with chairs for the clients to sit while the models strolled past in their gear--that would be going on intermittently all day. The public area of the store was filled with large-scale photographs of models in the new season's clothes and racks of goods that would soon be for sale; behind the scenes it was a madhouse of pinning, sewing, primping, and other last-minute preparations. Designers and models worked anxiously as buyers and clients perused the offerings, waiting to see how the garments that starred in the photographs looked in motion on the models' walk down the psuedo-runway. |

Penelope arrived a few minutes before noon at Muskaan on Tuesday as well, dressed in one of her business outfits and not particularly looking forward to this. There was a feeling in th e pit of her stomach that this would be the end of her and Charlie, but she was trying not to dwell on that. She couldn't knowingly put Shashi into a trap when she didn't know what the intended outcome was. If it was just to interrogate him, maybe she'd have let things be, or if it was just to keep an eye on her, she'd reluctantly consent to that. But she was not in the habit of giving out blank checks to people.
She glanced from the menu to her watch, as the hands ticked past. It was now nearly twenty minutes past the hour. She wondered when or if Charlie or someone else would show themselves. |

The pub in Godric's Hollow had been Charlie's suggestion when Penny had asked him about a wizarding pub. They weren't planning to discuss work but at least this way magic could be discussed freely. Penny hoped it might put Charlie a bit more at ease than a muggle pub. She arrived smelling faintly of whisky and cigarettes due to her Sunday afternoon ritual and a tad nervous about the matter she wanted to discuss, but Gus was right, she had to be direct. Direct over drinks was just easier. Grabbing a booth in the corner, she ordered two beers and sat down to wait for Charlie. |

Parliamentary recess meant a slightly relaxed dress code, but considering that Timms was holding open hours in East Ham, it meant Penny was still dressed in a suit with her hair pinned up, though threatening to fall due to the late hour. Knocking on Percy's office, she balanced her attache case of files and the tupperware container of sandwiches. |
