Dean was pretty sure that coming back to this house could easily be filed under Gryffindor courage. Or stupidity depending on your viewpoint of said courage. Granted, he was stopping by for work related reasons rather than to TP the grounds. Although it was very tempting to grab a paintball gun and see if they still were pompous enough to keep those white peacocks that had been strutting about the grounds last time he was here. The ground behind the gate didn't look as intimidating in daylight and with a distinct lack of Death Eaters and the bad sort of werewolf tugging and pushing him about. However, that was slightly negated by the fact that even though he could move better because of it, he was distinctly alone and didn't have the Boy Who Lived or his gang to draw attention away from the 'Mudblood'. Merlin knew what would have happened if he hadn't had the good fortune to cross their paths when he did.
Taking a deep breath, he approached the gate, an amused grin quirking his lips as the adornments shifted and moved like they did that night into a face.
"State your purpose!" the gate clanged.
"I'm here to sketch suspect pictures for Mr. Malfoy," he replied. He didn't realize he hadn't been expecting for the gate to not respond to him until he felt the wave of surprise that went through him when the gate swung open. Walking forward, he kept sweeping the landscape with his eyes warily as he made his way up the drive. The walk giving him time to relax a bit, thanks to the fact that nothing seemed to have the desire to attack him, his artistic eye actually took in the architecture before he knocked on the front door. |

What: Figuring out how to steal an anti-Apparation device

Where: Order safe (ware)house, undisclosed location
Warnings: It's Charlie, look for the potty-mouth
Status: Open to members of the Order, complete.
Charlie had arranged for everyone who might be involved in the upcoming raid to get an Anti-Apparation Device to meet him at the warehouse. He felt like he ought to put up a sign that said "NO MAGIC IN THE WAREHOUSE" but he'd have to go outside to conjure some paint and a board to make it. Instead he settled down in a broken-down chair that he'd salvaged and waited for the others to arrive. |

What: A Weasley party on Bill's boat is interrupted by Majd, intent on capturing wizards for live magical experiments. A fight ensues. The coast guard goes after the vessel after an alert from the shore. MI7, attracted by the magical activity on the boat, arrives to capture wizards for live magical experiments. A larger fight ensues.
When: Evening, July 10, 2009 (OOC NOTE: Predated to weekend.)
Where: Bill's showboat.
Rating: R for language and violence.
"Would someone please grab some gingerale for the kids?" Bill called over his shoulder as he squeezed through the narrow kitchen door. In his hands, he carried a bottle of dry bubbly and a few glass flutes. Several more floated behind him, one of many small magical excesses performed by Bill that day as he vented his feelings about using magic without worry. There were no muggles aboard, and they were far enough away from the coast that he was not worried about any disturbances they might cause.
The boat had set off around noon on a impromptu family getaway when Bill found a hole in the ship's busy schedule. The day had been spent lazily with some swimming and low flying broomsticks over the ocean after they'd come into clear waters.
Now they were gathered in the sky lounge on the top deck where the stage and bar were located along with a small dance floor and a few small tables. Bill lowered his offerings onto the bar and glanced out one of the porthole windows. The sea was clear. "Have all the flyers returned?" he asked the room. |
