Going Forward From Hell (Bruce)
Enigma sighed as she leaned against the wall of the lift as it headed up to the floor she shared with Bruce and Timmy, a tremble going through her body as she tried to release the fear that had been filling her the entire time she had been with Dexter.
She wondered if she should tell Bruce...the fact that she had been kidnapped and nearly killed again would probably force Hulk out, especially if she added in the fact she had intentionally left her tracking watch at home.
Though, it wasn't like her slightly ragged and fearful appearance didn't give a giant neon sign that something was wrong.
But...maybe he wouldn't notice.
She took a steadying breath, trying to appear normal as the doors slid open onto her floor, heading into the room.
