Inside knowledge....(Damon)

(This is set after Enigma and Bruce move into Stark Tower)

The Opera house seemed to be the one place that kept drawing Bruce back, there was something about it that was magical, and it captured his attention every time he passed by it. Opera was something, one of the few things actually, that could pull his mind out of his work, and that was actually a good thing, considering how lost and caught up he could get when he was involved in a project. The fact that his girlfriend was a performer here helped as well, when it came to dropping by unexpectedly. He quite enjoyed the walk from the lab to wherever the opera chose to be that day, as the weather was typically mild which made for a pleasant trip. He didn't use public transportation of any kind, nor was the idea of being in a vehicle such as a car too appealing, so he avoided that at all costs if he could. He didn't like the enclosed feeling.

He stood around in the lobby area, really for no particular reason, taking a moment to get out of his lab at Stark Towers, to really experience the day for what it was. If he ran into Enigma, or Christine, that would be fine with him too, as seeing either of them would obviously be a bonus to what has started out to be a wonderful day. There were people everywhere, almost as if the city itself were trying to prove how alive it really was by living vicariously through all of its citizens in that moment. Bruce was okay with that, he couldn't complain now that he fully understood what the city actually was about. It was odd, that a city could be alive, but he couldn't do anything about it so he just dealt with it. It wasn't worth arguing over, he had no control over that.

His brown eyes shimmered with the lights that flashed down onto an advertisement of Carmen, the next performance being soon, something he'd have to attend when he had time. It wasn't like he didn't have tickets, Enigma had given him some before they'd even gotten remotely serious, and so he could go whenever he pleased, which he definitely would. He stood there, amidst the crowd, hands deep in the pockets of his khaki pants, the soles of his soft shoes not making a sound against the rug beneath his feet. He wore a light blue button up shirt, the sleeves rolled causally up to his elbows, and though it looked similar in style to what he always wore, he fabric was much nicer, and of course he had Tony to that for that. Tony had given him so much, and he was very thankful. He was going to have to do something nice for him in return, perhaps make him something unique in the lab, that is if Jarvis could keep it a secret. There wasn't much that Tony hadnt already invented or thought of, but Bruce liked a challenge, it kept his brain on its toes, and that was when he did his best work.

He pulled his gaze from the poster of Carmen and glanced around at the faces in the foyer of the opera house, not really seeing anyone he knew. That was okay, his schedule was rather flexible and he still didn't know everyone in this place. It was a large city, he couldn't know everyone there. It was impossible.

Moving Day...Again (Bruce)

Enigma bounced as she waited for Bruce to catch up, eager to head into the building and check out their new home...and molest the shiny, shiny toys. “Come on, Brucey, you’re sloowwwww!” she said, bouncing more, to the point where she was almost losing the box in her arms. “I want in, I want in, I want in...”

Granted, she could just walk in, but Bruce had the access to the floor they needed until Enigma was fully integrated to the security around their floor and she was anxious to get going.

Bruce was excited that Enigma was eager to relocate from the warehouse into a more accessible place like Stark Tower, plus it was going to be nice having two people he cared about living under the same roof together. Not to mention all of the things science related that were about to go down with all of the advanced tools that Tony owned. It was nice having a billionaire for a best friend.

"I'm coming, hang on." Bruce said with a laugh, catching up to Enigma. They wouldn't need very much, just the essentials that Enigma would need, because Tony had basically set up the room for Bruce with everything he could ever need. Bruce approached the door where Enigma was standing, entered the code to the door, and walked into the foyer, finding the temperature to be perfect.

He held the door open for Enigma, and once she was inside, Bruce moved over to the elevator. He set down the box he'd been carrying, and opened the elevator, shoving the box in with his foot, pulling Enigma into the small contraption. It was uncomfortable to say the least, but she didn't have full access yet. "Jarvis, take us to the green floor, please." He said aloud to the AI that Tony used, earning a "certainly, Dr. Banner." In reply.

He waited until they reached the floor and about ran out of the elevator, calming his breathing, before holding the door open for her. He swept a hand at the room, offering her a smile, welcome home. )

A dangerous reunion....(enigma)

This City looked just like every other stinking town, especially Gotham, but there was something different about the atmosphere. Edward could pick up on it because he thought differently than most people, and though his view of the world was often skewed and completely out of proportion, he could pick up on signals and clues of sorts, things that most normal people around him would've missed.

That was how he knew that she was here, and the thought alone made his lips curl upwards in a wide, almost terrifying grin. There were small little question marks scattered here and there throughout the limits of the City, and he was certainly having a good time seeking out each one, and following it to the next, finally coming upon a sanctuary of sorts. Oh this was too perfect. A warehouse, it seemed, a lair, a hideout, whatever you wanted to call it. To Edward, it was a home away from home, but he couldn't be welcomed just yet. He was still a stranger in this very odd place, and he couldn't remember exactly how he ended up here, when he could distinctly remember being in a library with his daughter, Enigma. He remembered that she had been smarting off to him, that little pest, and he had tried to shoot her, but then she was gone. Where had she gone? Well, right here. He had been so blind not to see it, and it was only in good time that he followed her to where she was taking refuge. He hoped the little brat was being held somewhere, where nobody cared to look for her. No, he didn't really feel that way. He had mixed emotions when it came to his only offspring, an accident of sorts, something he actually finally had to deal with, and this is how that ended up. In a strange place, at a strange time, with strange people all around him. He didn't like that one bit. Too strange for him. He liked familiarity as well as chaos. That was sort of a paradox, of course, familiar chaos, but that was how he liked things.

Instead of approaching the door to the warehouse, Edward moved back down the street, and after a fair amount of walking, the tall, firey red-head found himself standing outside of Stark Towers. With a smirk, and a really strong feeling, he pulled out a piece of paper and a green pen from his pocket and scribbled down a note for his daughter. The question marks had lead him here, God knows why. The first clue )

He stuffed the paper into an envelope which was green and had a golden sparkled question mark on the front of it, and left it on the mat outside the door. With a smirk, he frolicked away, knowing he was going to need to leave another something special for her, and he had just the idea. It meant more to him than she ever would, but if it meant giving up the posession, he would do it. Though only to prove the point he was trying to make. He didn't care what she would think, he only wanted her to know that he was around.

Oh what fun this would be!

He headed off in the direction from which he'd come, heading back to the warehouse to wait for his daughter, they had many things to discuss. All of them important. There wasn't much time.

Recruiting? (Megan)

Dinah had decided to go looking for Megan to check up on the girl. It had a been awhile and she couldn't help but feel a little bit responsible. She had also considered offering to work with her, if she wanted. The mutant had expressed a curiosity about the Justice League and while there wasn't much of a team left, Dinah still thought that she and Hank had room to take in new people if they needed a place to go.

When she didn't find Megan at the coffee shop and heard that the young woman was no longer employed there, she asked around. There weren't too many pink-haired girls with fairy wings in the City after all, so it wasn't hard to find her.

The information Dinah received had pointed her in the direction of Megan's new place of employment, Fixit. Dinah found the shop and pushed open the door, looking for a sign of pink hair or wings.
