Snowbound (open)

The little black feline apparently was dropped into the deep snow, becoming completely lost amongst the white, frigged blanket. Sitting up as much as he could muster, JiJi barely was able to see over the drift, let alone figure out where he was. The last he remembered, he was hopping down from the roof to the attic room that he and Kiki shared, fully intent on waking the young witch before the sun rose too high in the sky; Falling into a snow drift was not something he had been expecting however.

Crouching down, the black streak popped up out of the snow only to be deposited into yet another deep pile not too far away. And this continued until the ebony feline finally found a more trodden path that had been worn down by human foot traffic. Currently he was a black and white cat thanks to the fluffy white bits sticking to his fur, which were easily removed by a good shake.

"Kiki? Hey Kiki is this some of of joke? Did you learn weather magic or something last night?" white, wide eyes glanced around, finally noticing that he didn't smell the scent of the sea at all. Actually, it didn't smell anything like the little port side town they had been calling home during the little witch's one year of training away from home.

"Hey... this isn't home..."

Let the fun start...

Who said torturing was easy? It certainly can change a girl, make her brand new and then some. But it takes so much work these days... )

Sweet Home, Asylum [Joker]

"Oh, no way. Tell me you didn't forget your keys," Gary said, incredulously.

Roy scrounged around in his tunic. "Why is it always me who has to remember keys? Are your pockets filled with Twizzlers, or something? Anyway, I could swear I picked up the keys before we left the asylum."

"Come on. It's always been like this. You're the brains, I'm the muscle." In desperation, Gary tried jiggling the handle of the rooftop door, which barely elicited a rattle. "Jeez, what did they make this place out of? Adamantium?"

"It's a home for the criminally insane. It's supposed to be secured. No way in or out. Aw, crap! That jester chick stole my lockpicks, too!"

"Well hurry up and think of something. I gotta take a wicked dump." Gary was performing an improvised ballet.

"You and your pooping. You know, you wouldn't have to go so often if you ate something besides Nutty Bars. Why don't you just go over there?" Roy pointed to a far corner of the roof on which they stood.

"It's fucking freezing out here. I can't ... it won't ... I'm all secured."

"Well what do you want to do? Knock on the front door and hope the Joker takes pity on us?"

Gary considered this, silently.

"No! No!" Roy slashed at the air with a hand, cutting off the possibility. "We are not crawling back empty handed. That dude is a psycho. He will totally murder us. You didn't see his private stash. You didn't see the Batman and Robin robots. They were anatomically correct," Roy emphasized with horror. "And they were doing things to each other..."

"If we don't go inside right now," Gary threatened, "my intestines are going to explode out of my abdomen, and it'll be on your head."

"God. I hope not literally. All right, fine," Roy acquiesced. "But if the Joker murders me, it'll be on your head."

"I can live with that, as long as I get to poop in a real toilet.

The two henchmen landed on the pavement at the front gate of Arkham Asylum. Gary hammered insistently on the huge door with the butt of his silk gun.

Welcome to the Neighborhood! (open)

Elle didn't know how she got here and where here was but that didn't make her freak out like it might have made other people freak out. Sure, she didn't know where daddy was, and the company's door had closed behind her and freaking disappeared. But that was no cause to panic. She just needed to find the way out of here, wherever here was. Maybe she was trapped in someones mind. Yeah, someone had that ability, she'd read that on a file. It could be, but there were a ton of people here. A ton of people. Elle stood there watching as the milled around like everyday normal people. This wasn't a nightmare or anything strange like that. Elle started off to look for the answer to where she was. Coming across a paper on the crowd she picked it up.

The City.

What city?

It didn't say what city. )

Marshmallow World (open!)

Snow was amazing stuff! Jeannie had not had a whole lot of experience with the frozen precipitation in the past, only having been exposed to it a few times previously. It simply did not snow where she had come from. And there really was not much snow in Florida either, unless she caused it. Well, it had been Christmas, and really, many people were wishing for it, not just her master.

But she had not had a chance then to play in it as she was doing now. Wrapped securely in a pink rabbit fur coat with little red tassels at the end of the hood ties, Jeannie dug her mittened hands into the drift next to her red boots. She packed a rather large wad of the semi-sticky stuff together, then began to roll it about, allowing gravity to make more snow stick. She rolled and rolled until she had a rather sizable ball, then she stood back to gauge her progress. Not quite big enough, she judged, so Jeannie went back to work.

When the ball had finally reached the height of her hip and she was reduced to blinking the huge and heavy snowball in order to make it roll over, Jeannie decided that might be big enough. She packed snow around the base of the ball, making sure that it would be secure and would not roll one way or another. A bit more snow was added here and there, evening the surface, creating a perfect sphere.

Pleased with the beginning of her project, Jeannie turned to create the next section. She had never before made a snowman, but it was a great deal of fun! She could, of course, blink a number of them into existence, but that would defeat the purpose. She wanted the experience, and thus far, she was enjoying it. She could hardly wait until she got to put the top hat on her new creation!
