It generally didn't lend to a good day when that was the first train of thought. But in this case, it was accurate. Jack looked around and then around again. Where the bloody hell was he now? Definitely not Cardiff or London that was certain. Something strange had happened in the Hub and at first he thought it was a temporal rift or something but now he just didn't know.
The comm wasn't working. No static, just no one there. What kind of bloody joke was this?
He was frustrated, but not scared. Not much scared Jack anymore. He stared at the buildings and his surroundings. He'd come out of what should be the surface entrance to the Hub but it was gone and so was any sign of it as well. The city seemed to be alive, almost... moving in a matter of speaking.
Curious, he thought to himself. And then he sighed. There were so many other things he'd rather be doing but a mystery was a mystery and this one prevailed above all others.
So he started walking. He would find others, figure what they knew and more importantly, how to get out of there.
