While watching Jacen in some sort of technicolor madness is somewhat amusing, I have a pair of infants and the world's grumpiest cat to look after, and doing it on my own is actually more work than being Lieutenant for a galactic leader. So really, Seal, sending him back to me any time now would be oh so appreciated.

And, while you're at it, Seal, sending back everyone else would be fantastic too. Because I am tired of seeing people I care about dealing with a load of kriffing bullshit.

So I've figured out the source of Ava's constant fussing and occasional bursts of tiny baby tantrums. Colic. Bloody brilliant. Let me tell you how much fun this is for both of us.

So...sorry about that, Molly. And I promise I won't be asking anyone else to babysit anytime soon.

So I'm afraid I won't be coming back until late this evening or possibly very early tomorrow morning. I gave up my seat to a lovely man returning from Afghanistan. He's from Lawrence, actually, and he's offered to take me to dinner this week as thanks. And the airline is upgrading me to first class but I'll need to leave this evening. They're still trying to figure out what the fastest way to get me back to Kansas is where there's an available seat. But I do plan on coming back, I swear.

I promise I will whisk Ava away tomorrow. And I also promise I will take her for at least five hours. I'm going to aim for noon so I can have time to get ready before I go out to dinner, if Khan still wants to. Or would another time work best?

I'm leaving at four in the morning tomorrow to get on a plane to travel to California for a week. I'm going to be avoiding the boards the entire week so if you have to reach me text or call. I'll try and answer promptly.

I had a lovely time at dinner. That was an excellent restaurant. And I'm sorry it took so long to tell you. I've been a bit swamped with getting ready for the trip and finishing up work. I know it was your way of thanking me but I'd like to return the favor. How do you feel about Italian food?

That was a lovely moment where I slept right through the alarm clock panicked and got ready in less than five minutes.

..And then I realized I was not scheduled for surgeries today. I'll be going back to bed for at least another four hours.

My new rule is to never eat any homemade baked goods I didn't bake myself or I didn't watch being made. Or if they aren't from friends. I feel horrid.

The seminar I'm teaching at the university got expanded from three days to five and while I'm excited for the opportunity I'm worried I won't be able to fill up five days worth of lessons. I'm even more nervous now than I was before. I know it might be a long shot, but would anyone be willing to help me figure out how to stretch what I already had planned to five three hour long lessons? Or at least let me work it out and offer advice as I fret. Or reassurance. I could use that as well.

I've made a decision about my personal life, but I have a question first. I don't miss Tom, not really, and I think I should take that as a sign I didn't love him as much as I thought. You come from a later point than I do. Did I marry him? Did I ever go through with it?
