So, things!

1. I am officially getting published! Again! Not Supernatural stuff this time. Well, I mean, it's a supernatural plot but it's not, like, the gospels. Which means basically you're all safe from being published and etcetera. But I've got a three book deal, with the possibility of a couple additional books if it's well-received, so. Woo? I just hope things stay quiet long enough for me to finish the final edits on the first book so they can get it out soon.
   
2. The babies! The link is a video of the most recent ultrasound. They mostly just squirm around, but there seems to be some thumb-sucking action going on later on in the video, and, y'know. It's just kinda cool to see. And a little bit terrifying. They're getting bigger and then they'll be born and then there will be two of them running around and :)

I've just got a book deal interview lined up for next week for something that isn't one of the Supernatural books. I'm probably going to be drunk when I go. I don't think I can handle going sober. I mean, I don't do a lot of things sober, even though I'm supposed to be trying to do that. I'm just really bad at it.

And even though this is kind of what I wished for back when the wishes were going around, I'm still not entirely sure it's going to work out? I mean, like... maybe it was a faulty wish, since I wished for something that I'd technically already had before, by wishing to get stuff published? I had a whole series out, maybe the wish was just like "Oh, look, done already, bye," and all these little magazine stories I was getting were just flukes, or, you know, something like that.

In other news I am really in the mood for pizza and I'm considering getting some for lunch and I think there might be something in the water because as soon as I drank some to help get rid of my headache I started feeling all ....honest? Like, really honest? Didn't we have this happen already? I'm pretty sure we did. It was very dramatic. I hope it stops soon, before I say something horribly stupid and tactless? Sometimes I do that. Even without forced honesty.

So why won't the airlines let us book a flight to Lawrence right now?

So, I think our tentative new return date is Wednesday? If the bugs are gone by then. Can't say I'm disappointed to be staying longer. Or to be avoiding the crazy-dangerous crap.

While you guys are fighting for your lives I'm going to be sleeping on the beach this afternoon. I may or may not be a horrible person.

So, uh. If you guys don't stop the bugs soon, things are going to get worse. I mean, a lot worse, not just saying that to state the obvious.

I think at this point we're down by ten percent of Lawrence's population... And that's probably me being kind of generous about it, it's probably even worse than that, but they're really out to just... destroy everyone. And they're going to leave the city, soon, and people are going to start joining the hive, and it's just going to be really bad.

So, I don't know, that's... kind of all I really have to say, 'cause I'm not exactly seeing a good way to get out of this. Mostly because I'm not good with that kind of thing, but also because I'm not even in the state at the moment, but I don't think I'd be able to help even if I was there, so... Sorry.
