Hypothetically, say someone had thoughts of publishing a book while here. What are the chances it would attract too much attention?

Also on a separate note, I wish to make an offer I made some time ago ~~I just got side-tracked by the bastard Irishman trying to kill me and Myka and dealing with my daughter's death~~. I had made the offer of installing an anti-gravity trap within the main entrance of the complex for added security in the event we are attacked by things like those Autons again and some try to get inside the complex for some reason. The anti-gravity trap basically renders an area devoid of gravity, causing anyone and anything within it's range to be stuck to the ceiling when it is activated. If anyone is fearful of potentially getting caught within the area of effect, I can easily make your shoes magnetic so you wouldn't be affected.

If anyone not living at the complex would like me to install one, or more, within their residence, I would be more than happy to oblige.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I would not do this without consent from everyone. It was a thought I had when we were confronted with a mass attack that the usual magical wards do not protect against.

This topic is hard to approach, but I do not think I am the only one here who has a dark past in this regard. Is it ever possible to get the inner darkness under control again? Provided control was able to be exerted before, of course.

	If it were an easy question to answer, I think more people would be faring better than they are in such topics. But life in general is not supposed to be easy though we may wish it to be. Struggles are what makes us human and helps us grow. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

This is a side of me that I've known has been there since I was young. I have had time to find ways to keep it under control. But when my daughter was murdered, I lost control, and frankly, I didn't care to even try to keep control any longer. It wasn't until a bit over a year ago that I suddenly realized how far I had fallen, and I have reasons again to fight to regain that control. It is a most difficult struggle that is taxing, but the alternative is not one I can afford to follow.

	I am sorry for your loss. The loss of a loved one, be it family, child or lover, is not a pain I would wish on anyone. Though at least she was brought back to life later. Though I imagine it did not immediately erase the effects her death had on you. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

That is a heavy burden to carry, to learn that she is killed again and there is nothing you can do. I know that feeling well. I tried to bend time to my will so I could travel back in time and save my daughter. The only thing I achieved was bearing witness to her last moments and being powerless to save her.

It depends, truthfully. I have largely found that I can control myself, but there was an incident where I was being targeted by a sociopathic murderer simply because of a relationship I had to someone he had a grudge against. In the end, he snapped what little control I'd gained over myself, but I did not have the chance to harm anyone as I was shot soon after the fact. It has taken some time, but I have been able to re-establish some semblance of control. But I still fear losing it again.

It is a natural feeling in such a circumstance, I believe. And ah, they are from your future, which complicates things. No doubt that only adds to the feeling of being at a bit of a loss. All I can say is give yourself some time to process what you have learned for acting rashly will rarely, if ever, result in anything good.

That is my hope, though reigning myself back in and trying to get a grip on it again is so difficult to do.
