How's Hawaii sweetheart?

It appears as though it might be a bit more complicated to go back to being a forensic pathologist than I had anticipated, even with the credentials Claudia got for me. The main laboratory is in Witchita and the entire process to being one here is a headache. However, there might be an opening to teach forensic pathology at the University of Kansas next fall. I'm inclined to take it if it's offered to me. It would be nice to be able to do something here that I'm good at. And it wouldn't be as interesting continuing to help the police without Sherlock around. I'm just not quite sure what to do in the meantime. Suggestions would be lovely.

I'm rather conflicted at the moment. I miss Tom, but I don't miss him nearly as much as I should. I care about him, and I do miss him, but I miss other people more. And it's not just Sherlock, it's Greg and everyone I worked with from Scotland Yard and I know that's not how it's supposed to be. I'm supposed to miss Tom more and I...don't. I must be a horrible person.
