I thought that I should update everyone. Ms. Jennings - the orphanage night caretaker - has woken finally. She was very surprised to find so many flowers in her room when she woke. We're keeping her a few more days for observation. But then she should be able to go home...

I want to know what progress has been made if any. If we have to be preparing for more victims like Ms. Jennings...

Any news on whatever attacked that orphanage?

It's weird. Being here and not being able to do anything about it. I wasn't a cop or anything, but you spend a couple years in the military fighting death and chaos in other countries and you can't help but feel a little...useless when stuff like this happens. I was supposed to have been glad that it was all behind me.

I guess I'm still getting used to civilian life.
