The year is 2030. The scientists have successfully kept their project a secret, hiding away in the bowels of Maine. They've censored, monitored, and all but controlled the mutated, posing as doctors, teachers, and trusted family members. Powers are starting to emerge and it's their job to test their limits. Conflict is rising in the souls of the sympathetic as a new government experiment appears on the island - one with an uncontrollable and deadly power. The experiments are far from over, but the danger is just beginning.

The Genome Project is a game focusing on original characters with super powers and the scientists that mutated them, with a few accidental killings thrown into the mix.

Open powers include: enhanced senses, water mimicry, technopathy, astral projection, terrakinesis and many more! We're always looking for new scientists, many children need their parents in game, and some scientists may have powers of their own. Check out our premade list for pre-established lines needed.

X-Project is an X-Men movieverse RPG on Livejournal. Set after X2, we've been running since May 5, 2003 and use a combination of in-character journals and email/IM logs. Be it classic superhero adventures, high school drama, dark and gritty spy games or interpersonal relationships, X-Project caters to everyone.

X-Project is currently focusing our advertising towards filling some of our unplayed characters and available NPCs. We will still look at applications for new characters, but our preference is for applications for socks. To help give you an idea of each character's history, we have a series of "cards" for each available character/NPC.

Everything changes. Nowhere is this more true then in the world of Marvel. For a little more then half a century there have been new characters, new story lines, old characters brought back. Different versions, time lines, and universes open up all kinds of role play possibilities. For some of us, we miss Marvel the way it used to be. Before our favorite characters had their histories retconned by new writers several times. Before characters were killed off, brought back, and killed off again. Before there were more characters and team members then you could possibly name. Back when it was about just a team, dealing with life, hero work, and finding their place in the world. We miss role play the way it used to be. Where you write with other writers, where the plot and play where the important part of the game and not in character AIM sessions. Where you wanted to write a character in situations with other characters, not just write out private journal entries, and interact only through comments on other people's journals. Where it's about the game, not all the accessories.

With a plot that brings the fledgling teams of X Men and Excalibur together, we are looking for members that enjoy writing, and interacting with a group. We are all for non censored mature role play that starts small teams and adds characters as we go to make sure there is plenty of interaction for everyone and no one feels left out! So if you are looking for some old school Marvel role play where everyone is involved in posting and plots, where input is welcomed and the drama is reserved for in game, then come see who we are recruiting for the game. ABOUT OUR PLOT
Have you ever wondered what might've happened had the Boy Who Lived been a girl? Or if Lord Voldemort had been a Lady? This is your chance to explore the magical universe of Harry Potter as a canon character; but of their opposite sex. Basically? The Weasley family has six daughters and a son. Witches and wizards take whatever name they'd like upon marriage (be it their own, their spouses, or otherwise). It's commonplace in this game for men to take their wives names, and for the children to carry on the moniker.

The game is set in 2003; five years after the Battle of Hogwarts. The Trio and company would be around 23-years-old. This game is only AU in that the sexes are switched. Everyone who has died is dead, and so on. So, no Syria Blacks or Fredericka Weasleys, sorry.

There is no "dark" overall plot, as of yet. The beginning of this game will be our chance to get accustomed to the wizarding world through different eyes. After some time has passed and we've stretched our legs, a darker, member-decided plot will be implemented.

Grave Comfort is a supernaturally themed original character role-playing game set in a fictitious small town known as Comfort, Virginia. Established in 1763, Comfort has a rich history going back to the original colonies of America. In the present day, it is famous for the strange goings-on that happen throughout the town: mysterious lights over the woods, a haunted former prison for the criminally insane, haunted train tracks, the remains of a 19th century cult that ended in mass murder...there was even a cult slasher film series based on the town's supernatural history that has spawned an annual horror film festival. Typical tourist attractions can be found in town too, from tours on the Buckley Plantation or at the Thorpe winery to visits to the Historical Society's Museum or one of the many art galleries in town. It's one of those days when nothing is happening. Maybe you're opening the kitchen door to make a sandwich, or maybe you're heading to the bathroom after just waking up. Or maybe it's a day near the end of your journey, and you're about to step through the door to face your destiny. Whatever it is, the moment you do open that door, there's something not quite right. Behind the door, there's a hallway or a room that you've never seen before. And when you turn to the door right behind you, you only find an empty hotel room.

You may want to try to go back home, so you travel around the corridors, opening and closing the shifting doors along the hallways, but it's not going to be easy to find the way back to your world - you see, once a door is opened, it changes its place immediately.

So welcome and enjoy your stay. You might be here for some time.

Shifting Doors: Worlds Beyond is roleplay game accepting both fandom and original characters. It's a basic "you are here" type of RPG. After opening a shifting door, your character is brought to a deserted hotel. From the outside, it seems like a normal building, but inside, the structure changes every day, with endless corridors and a bunch of doors that can either lead you to the bathroom or to a world where dinosaurs still roam the Earth.
