| Welcome to Unfinished Tales, the stories of the fourth age of Men. The shadow of Sauron has fallen, and the peoples of Middle-Earth pick up the pieces. An unknown darkness rises in the East and to combat this darkness the Halls of Mandos have opened letting out heroes with no memory of evil times. The elves who were to depart into the West postpone their journeys to help the Men who struggle with long-sleeping evils. This is the day to shine a light into the encroaching darkness - and age for strength and for glory. Will you not rise to determine the fate of Middle-Earth? Unfinished Tales is a Tolkien-based game set after the War of the Ring. We aim to further the tales at the end of The Return of the King as well as in the Fourth Age through the use of journals and AOL instant messenger chat. The quest for excellent roleplaying and a friendly community in the Tolkien fandom is one that never ends. Unfinished Tales seeks to gather the excellent roleplayers of the internet realm and gather them in a friendly, diplomatic environment where they can explore characters that Tolkien created. After the fall of Voldemort, there were plenty of people coming out of alliances and those who were trying to get their lives back in order. Everyone seemed to be wanting work, but there were too many people to take on as apprentices... so the Ministry came out with D.U.M.P., or Dumbledore’s University of Magical Peoples! Now with D.U.M.P. here, people meet up again, more businesses flourished with the opening of such a big school, and society is starting to grow together again! The year is 2002 and there are a whole handful of students pursuing their most ideal careers here at D.U.M.P.! With their members disbanded the Rift was left unchecked and gradually the threats which lay in wait began to come through. Worried, the Government which had essentially destroyed the team re-made it, opening it a year after the disaster in 2010. It is now 2020. A new generation of Torchwood is protecting the rift and city of Cardiff. Plucked from their various careers to defend against the potential dangers the Rift can produce, the team must band together if they are to be successful in protecting the Earth against the new, advanced, even more violent opposition.  It all began with the three Halliwell sisters. Six months after the death of their grandmother they found out that they were meant for more than the day to day jobs they had. They were witches, they were the Charmed ones. Foretold be their ancestor Melinda Warren before she was burned at the stake during the Salem witch trials. Together these three sisters would face the forces of evil. Though not all battles had happy endings. There power almost died with the loss of the eldest of the three, Prue. But still when one door closes another one opens. The two remaining sisters learned about another sister, Paige, who would complete the trinity once more. With her they would vanquish the Source (several times). And they would stand together to defeat the original Ultimate Power and the Triad. After the fall of the Ultimate Power, the Charmed Ones were able to retire to live normal lives and look forward to being parents. Piper finally started the restaurant that she was dreaming of for all those years, Phoebe would continue working as a columnist and became an acclaimed novelist as well, and Paige joined the staff at magic school to teach the new generation of witches and whitelighters. It is now up to the next generation of magic to protect the world, and with the rise of a new Source and his government, it ought to get interesting.... It has been twenty some years since the Charmed ones were called to fight against the forces of evil. They have all been living life with their families. Almost normal, mortal lives until now. The year is 2028 and the call for the forces of good to join together has come. It is the next generations turn to fight the evil that surfaces from the underworld. There is a new Source who had been in power since the vanquishing of the Triad. The Source growing into power with the support of a shadow group that had come into light after the vanquishing the dark forces of both the previous Source and the Triad. Something far more darker than what has already played out in the past. The group called the Syndicate led by one, Damian Slade, has been recruiting witches of any size, shape, and, allegiance. Anyone who seemed to have even the clearest showing of mystical promise. Either doing what is needed to make sure that; that power the witches controlled was under a very tight thumb of Slade or going about the eradication of anyone who isn't willing to convert to their side. Something wicked this way comes...will you be ready? |

 Though the so-called Golden Age of King Char and Queen Ella is long over- so long ago now that few are still alive who can remember it- life continues on much as it ever did. Merchants travel the lands far and wide, finding new and exotic goods to bring back to Greenville, the town just outside the royal palace. Greenville's markets are thriving, and most of the town's inhabitants pay little mind to the castle looming in the distance. That is, of course, until The Gray Death appears. There is no known cure. Sufferers initially feel very weak, and are soon not even able to get out of bed. Overcome by fever, their complexions turn gray and they die. Still, Greenville believes it is safe- there are just rumors of the illness, and being so close to the castle, they're safe, right? The illness knows no boundaries, a fact that is brought starkly to light when the King of Frell contracts the disease and dies a short time later. The King leaves behind a land in limbo- his wife, the Queen, is trying her level best to keep power from the hands of their immature son. Heroes search for a cure, trying to avenge their fallen King. Life in Greenville continues on, if a bit more cautiously. Life in the court, however, is marked by ambition and intrigue. Courtiers' motives are far from pure, and ambitions are on the rise. No one is sure who will emerge victorious. Fair is an original character role playing game inspired by Ella Enchanted, Fairest, and The Two Princesses of Bamarre by Gail Carson Levine.
