Nearside is a city on the verge of mainstream development, located in Central Pennsylvania next to the Carlton Mountain. Built by a collective community of artists, Nearside is a unique city of locally owned businesses, farmer's markets, and a thriving force of creativity. Solaris Rd. is the most popular section of the city, offering everything from a popular coffee house (a place for local bands, speed dating, karaoke nights, and much more) to a costume shop and a yoga studio to a daycare for Nearside's youngest residents, the city has countless amenities. Several years ago a university was built and with it, there has been a rapid growth of corporate business and mainstream entertainment but the residents still focus on keeping Nearside's close-knit, small town charm. *Mod Note: Nearside is a social game, focused on character development and looking for serious writers. You won't find zombies, murders, big-name celebrities, vampires, or people waving around magical wands. Nearside is a game where talented writers have a chance to simply play out various storylines in a relaxed atmosphere. For years, The Girlie Show has been a signature show on the NBC Friday Night Line Up. Bringing to life such classics as Gaybraham Lincoln and The Overly Confident Morbidly Obese Woman, T.G.S. has become an American staple...until now. Ratings are dropping and with the economy in a slump, GE and NBC have found themselves cutting back more and more in order to save their microwave division. The result? Shows like T.G.S. are facing a tougher year than ever with cancellation (or worse) a buy out from their second-sister Canadian station in Toronto pending!
Never one to back down, Jack Donaghy has a plan. They will retool, revitalize, and re-envision T.G.S. for a new decade! After a drunken poker bet with a couple 'network executives', Jack was given one season to refurbish the show into the number one prime-time show in the country. If he fails, he will lose everything...and the staff and actors of The Girlie Show will be faced with losing their show, or moving with it to Canada.
In all honesty, the 'new guy' Danny doesn't think it's such a bad compromise, but as every good American knows; you should never listen to the advice of a Canadian.
Will TGS be able to pull together this year and make this season better than ever? Will Liz finally pull writers, staff, and actors together to overcome this huge mutual obstacle? Will Jenna ever get her spotlight back? Will Tracy find that Japanese fighting fish that went missing in his dressing room two weeks ago?
Only time will tell.

The year is 1999. The war's over ... right? Everyone has a secret, and members of the wizarding world are no exception. These carefully kept guilty secrets, hidden away in the darkest corners of hearts, begin to come to light when the Death Eaters are suspected of making a resurgence in the year after Voldemort's demise. Two years after the final battle, Hogwarts hosted a week-long festival to celebrate it's re-opening. The culmination of this festival was a great ball and everything went off without a hitch; until the after party. When the classes of 1998 and 1999, along with a few extra Weasleys, got together to open a time capsule everything changed. Suddenly they were all sent to the year 1978 with no idea how or why it happened. Now, stuck in the past with their parents and relatives, many of whom are younger than they are, they need to discover why they were brought there and what they need to do to get home. Though Jean fought hard for mutant rights, it would be her very existence that would send the Humanity Now! Coalition into action. It was Jean that started the wheels turning and brought the world to where it is today, just a few short years after her death. Humanity holds very ethnocentric ideas, and it's hard to let go.
