On December 21, 2012, a solar flare changed the course of history and brought mutants to the world. It is now 2014, and humanity is not sure what to make of these mutants. What future does this new world hold?

[info]x_2012 is an alternative universe, thread-based X-Men game. This community is aimed at simplifying histories and RP in general with a goal of putting the focus back on playing and developing characters. We do not have extra, clutter communities, the gameplay is based around one central location to allow for easy interaction between all characters, and mutant powers have only existed for a year, allowing players to create a concise, simple history for their characters. We are friendly, active and always looking for new players.
