 Its leading up to James Potter and the other Marauders' last year at Hogwarts. Voldemort and his followers have been moving steadily into the limelight as the days progress. After a few high profile murders, they've been focusing their aim more and more on both the Ministry and Hogwarts. Though Voldemort is still holding back on facing Dumbledore directly, attacks have increased, death tolls are rising, and fear grips the community. The Order of the Phoenix, started a few years previous, is barely in existence. They've been unable to find their footing amongst an increasingly paranoid population and are making exhausted efforts to recruit new members, making a few mistakes along the way. |

| The spirit of Shakespearean Theatre lives on in Stratford, Ontario in Canada. Established in 1915, was the Stratford Liberal Arts University. The school where your favorite characters from William Shakespeare's plays enroll or teach. Tragedy has struck the school this year when the President of the University, Hamilton Prince Sr. died under mysterious circumstances during the summer. To make the it more controversial, the late President was replaced by his brother Claudius Prince, who married widow Gertrude Prince only a couple months after the tragic death. The staff are nervous to see the affect this will have on English Professor, and only son of the former President, Hamilton Prince Jr. So far the school has tried to go back to normal. The Winter Semester has just started. The winter productions will be starting rehearsals soon, and all the classes are already going underway. Soon enough, it will be midterms. The Student Union has gone through changes, since Duncan Scott was kicked out of school, leaving Nathaniel Bath to take over as President of the Student Union. Student life seems to be getting more hectic and full of stress and the Professor's lives aren't much easier. With all the controversy and strange coincidences, will they be able to make it through the year? Follow your favorite plots, or create some more drama for yourself. At the mark of the 22nd century, the human race finally cracked the code on intergalactic space travel, allowing anyone and everyone to explore the deep levels of space. New galaxies were found as alien races were discovered. Humans finally realized that they weren’t the only people in the universe, let alone the smartest race. Humanity struggled to find its place in the newly discovered community of races and most humans dwindled away, never to be seen again. As new technologies were discovered, the 'aliens' found out how much they really held a distaste for the humans. In a way to destroy their connections, they decided to implode the earth, leaving many humans stranded and alone. Disorder ran through the galaxies and it was evident that a set government needed to be made and created. It was then that the Galactic Core was created, placing Kaolin Barnes as leader of their government. Little did they know at the time what the man had up his sleeve. Their straight and narrow frontman proved to be anything but when it came down to it. Barnes wasn't just the leader of the Galactic Core, but also the creater and runner of the Core underground where drugs, weapons, and even people were bartered for money. However, a political leader is not able to run these dark dealings himself, he must higher a crew to fly around the galaxy and pick up his goods. Barnes searched the depths of the world for special 'people'. Although people thought that humans were all off and dead forever, some had survived. And those survivors held special abilities. From stealth to accelerated healing, these humans were born in this deicmated world, without the love of their families. That is why when Barnes found each and every crew member of The Dream Weaver and The Onyx he gave them two choices. Work as a smuggler for the biggest mod boss ever known or be shot for being human. All chose life. Barnes created two smuggling ships, The Dream Weaver and The Onyx. Both ships housed 15 people with a multitude of powers and abilities. These two ships grew to hate each other deeply because both were competing for Barnes' attention. However their jobs were the same. Their objective: find, gather, and transport Barnes' goods to whomever was buying. In turn, the crews get compensated for their work and get to live another day. As long as they were compliant, their lives weren't in danger of extinction. As the crews did their jobs around the galaxy, the feeling of mutiny encased them all. They knew who was running the biggest ring of criminal activity this side of the Milky Way. Sure they were humans, but if they could hunt out the people and take down Barnes, there was a real possibility that humans, those hidden in the undergrounds and throughout the Galactic Core that were supposedly dead, could resurface and show their faces to the world once more. But what happens when the two ships are found out as humans? Can they avoid getting captured by Barnes or killed by the Core armada that he will send after the humans? Will the two ships be able to put aside their differences and come together to end the Alien tyranny and allowe humans to take control once more? Realizing that the paper needed to be cleared of its bad reputation from the war, Editor-in-Chief Barnabas Cuffe 'let go' of several people that he believed did not live up to his expectations. demonkitten Check the journal. Two line ideas I am dying to play. One is a Twilight, and the other is a Twilight/The Invisible Man crossover. Both are fairly original. Looking to start playing today, and hopefully over aim. Both could be modified to be either het or slash. The Twilight SL would be a Volturi OC (either female or male) against an AU Twilight boy, or even an OC Vampire.
The Twilight / Invisible Man would be against any AU Twilight boy (preferably Carlisle or Edward) VS a rewrite of Darian Fawkes (either male or female.) This line would work even if you don't know the Invisible Man, the information is there and it is a fairly neat combo of an idea.

There's an elite boarding school an hour away from San Francisco that's dedicated to the education of children with superpowers: Veritas Academy. Veritas takes these children in and helps them control their gifts - trying to turn them into productive members of society. The lucky few become heroes and villains that are respected and feared the world over, but the rest also have real stories to tell. They are known as businesspeople, lawyers, doctors, academics, nurses, and teachers. They are the people you know, but never stop to truly wonder about. There are success stories and failures that are known everywhere, but not everyone can be Superman. The majority of the students remain virtually unknown to the majority of the public as they go about their everyday jobs and lead their everyday lives. The Veritas Alumni Association decided to follow the trend that had been set by Livejournal, Facebook and MySpace, and set up their own social networking site. It became known as something that old students use to keep in touch with friends, watch their enemies and complain about their everyday lives. Yet in between the complaints, arguments and laughs that the students are having, something is beginning to interrupt their lives: Someone is killing alumni, and no one knows who's going to be next. |

In the year 2008, a virus swept North America. Ever vigilant for a pandemic, citizens boarded up their windows, stockpiled their canned goods, and turned their neighbors in to the CDC. Short wave radios fell off the shelves, evacuation routes were prepared. Gas masks and specialty filtration systems were distributed. Pills were available for those showing early symptoms. Pills that did not work. That were later replaced with cyanide as their active ingredient. For those who were brave enough to put their fingers near a loved one's mouth. The United States, Canada, Mexico, the virus swept down into South America and festered in the heat of the jungle. In some places it burned out. Superstition ruled and saved lives. But nothing stopped the virus. Three months after the first diagnosed case of Currere Excessum was recorded, NATO approved Great Britain's use of nuclear force against the United States. It was assumed that all organic material would be reduced to ash under the impact. It was assumed that the Quarantine of the Americas would be temporary, at best. Any who survived the blast would be given the highest in humanitarian attention and medical care. The only American emissaries who knew of the plan lay incinerated in Washington. The Quarantine continued. The Americas lay abandoned. Empty. |

Deceptive Perception is a game unlike most games out there today. The players are encouraged to remain anonymous while playing in order to suspend reality even more than normal. This also encourages those who might not ever meet or know each other to play together and, eventually, want to know each other. Think of this game as a place to let go of any preconceptions about anyone you may have ever met online and just play with the characters that are set out before you. The characters are supernatural beings who have existed for as long as mortal stories have been told - vampires, demons, and werewolves just to name a few. That's not to say that mortals don't still over-run the lands, but the constant supernatural presence does make some more mindful of what places they venture into on dark and stormy nights. The land itself, known as Inora, is unlike any other place within the mortal realm. The lands consist of a set of islands that cradle more than just mortals in its loving embrace. The islands were said to have been created by the vampires long ago when mortals were still young and easily manipulated. They gave themselves a place to live among the mortals who feed them, among the mortals who they rely on. They used their magic and knowledge to shape the lands to their desires while painting the earth red with blood. Eventually, other races were thrown into the fray and a century of war was fought for supremacy. Centuries passed between rulers and the times of war seemed to almost be forgotten. Even when some rulers' deaths seemed somewhat unnatural, the treaty between the demons and vampires was always upheld. Those cursed descendants of man, werewolves, always presided over the ceremonies unto which the power of the government changed hands. Eventually, the winds of change blew through the lands and the times evolved as well. New cities sprang up in the wilds and an industrial revolution took hold. But even something as simple as your perception can be deceptive and nothing is ever perfect... Characters currently not filled have been placed up on the Needed & Wanted Page in order to make it easier for potential players to see what is going on. Most of the names that are listed can be altered to suit writers' tastes if the person wanting the character has said so. We know these people exist, but we don't know everything about them. Please help us find out just who they are! Writers of this game should have control over their own story lines and, as long as nothing really drastic is needed, the mod will not intervene to stop plots unless it is deemed necessary to keep the game from jumping the shark. Of course, personal story lines are encouraged, but you are also encouraged to play with the group rather than just one or two others. Opened January 2009! Werewolves & Lawmen are very needed! |

The year is 2009 and there are superheroes among us. Not only that, there are a lot of them. They're on the streets, keeping them free of crime, and New Carthage City is the cleanest it's been in years, save for South New Carthage, but we don't talk about that…
New Carthage City, Indiana is a town currently defended by a crack team of supers (and the odd civilian) known as the "Saints". At least, the Northwest is; nobody's allowed to go into the South without express permission of Mr. Lancaster, head of the Lancaster Group. Mr. Lancaster has a not so secret weapon over the government of New Carthage, and it's the only thing stopping the Saints from sweeping in and deposing him. All he wants is to be left alone, and the government is only too happy to oblige (assuming certain "perks" are acknowledged, of course).
This leaves the rest of the population in a difficult position--do you tolerate the corruption like the government is? Or do you fight it with any means at your disposal? For the ones who chose to fight, there's prime real estate in the East. All you've gotta do is get yourself a secret identity and prepare to leave the law behind. You've already done that? Good. NEW CARTHAGE CITY
We’re a brand new RP for people who always wished they had super powers. Or if they just wanted to play a character with them. Or if they just want to try out a new RP because they’re bored and have nothing better to do. This game contains elements of the films/novels Watchmen, and Sin City and features “supers” living side by side with humans. Unsurprisingly, it doesn’t always go smoothly.

Tolkien Seven years ago, the Dark Lord Voldemort fell, finally bringing an end to his vicious reign of power and terror. Yet, the war did not end with his death. For years, the Wizarding World has worked to repair the damages left during the aftermath of war. Emotional burdens have yet to fully heal, too many lives destroyed, families torn apart, and friends lost. Hogwarts was left in rubble, unable to reopen for years, the damage too great, endless sweat and tears shed as people worked to rebuild the foundations to give their children a future. Death Eaters still roam free, cunningly avoiding even the best Aurors, leaving many in fear that another war will be on the horizon. As things begin to resemble some semblance of normalcy, an old follower of Voldemort is in the wings, plotting his revenge, gathering the remaining Death Eaters and new followers, planning to unleash a new war, wanting to finish his master’s vision. In the Ministry, a serial killer is murdering powerful political figures, leaving everyone pointing fingers and letting things slip through the cracks. Fenrir Greyback has escaped from Azkaban, butchering countless individuals as he runs from Aurors, gathering and making new werewolves in his travels, gathering an army to strike against the Ministry. All the while, the Muggle World is at war, affecting the Wizarding World as it heightens. The world is in complete chaos. Minister of Magic, Kingsley Shacklebolt is determined to rebuild the Wizarding Community into a vision of peace and has called forth some of the best Aurors from around the world in an effort to clean up the United Kingdom, determined to capture and imprison the remaining Death Eaters and send a clear message of constant vigilance to those seeking to do more harm. Many are unhappy with the Minister’s plans, many seeking to replace him and other important individuals, some willing to go to great lengths to achieve their goals. The Wizarding World is torn between fully recovering and moving forward and taking two steps back, arriving right back where they left off seven years ago.
