A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away . . .



CHILDREN OF THE FORCE


      Jedi and Sith. For millenia their wars have ravaged the galaxy. Their conflicts have drawn in and devastated any world that picked a side. Ten years ago their most recent struggle rendered both Jedi and Sith extinct, a new Galactic Empire arose from their ashes. The force itself mysteriously vanished, and those who could once connect to the ancient power were no longer able to. The empire outlawed lightsabers and strictly prohibited the glorification of the Jedi and Sith. Though they exercised absolute power, the galaxy at least knew peace.

      Now the force has returned. Reports of force sensitive youths around the galaxy sets the empire into motion. They scour the galaxy in search of these children, seeking to study and ultimately find a means of suppressing the force once and for all. Unbeknownst to the empire, a survivor from the Jedi and Sith war has already begun to recruit some of these children, and has opened a secret Jedi academy with the purpose of ushering in a new age. Now survival of the Jedi order rests on the shoulders of a select few, the CHILDREN OF THE FORCE . . . .

“ . . . All that was left in Pandora’s box was hope.”

During the 21st century, a global pandemic swept over the world. They dubbed it the “Pandora virus,” or PV for short, because of its devastating nature. The virus tore through the world’s population. It killed almost one-third of humanity in its first month alone. Countries everywhere grew panicked, believing it to be a work of biological terrorism. Nation stood against nation, and a worldwide war began. Much of earth was laid to waste within just a handful of months by the combined effects of nuclear war and the Pandora virus. Survivors immune to the virus found the world uninhabitable, and many of them perished due to radiation poisoning or famine.

There were other creatures who inhabited this planet along with human beings, though. They had just been in hiding for many centuries. Praeternaturals, they were called. Legendary beings and creatures believed to be nothing more than myth. They were also biologically immune to the Pandora virus. With the foresight of the oracle Euryale, groups of praeternaturals learned of what was to come and prepared for the preordained onslaught. They had built safe havens protected by magic in hidden areas across the world. Taking in as many humans and praeternaturals alike as they could before the war, these communities provided a stable living environment for the survival of all species.

One such safe haven is an ancient land once inhabited by elves, abandoned by them long ago, and renovated into a sanctuary. They call it Elysium. Located in the modern-day Republic of Macedonia near Lake Ohrid, it was once a part of Greece. Now, it is a part of the process to one day rebuild the world.


Game Objective.
No Such Place is an original fantasy role-playing game catering to various genres, but it has action oriented game-wide plots that affect all of its players. The world is completely interactive and reactive. Whether you prefer action, drama, romance, or horror — this game allows you to play all and pick your favorite to explore. Your objective is to create your own story. However, beware the setting. Everything affects everything, and like a domino effect, No Such Place will affect every character and player with things beyond their control.

Currently, there is a murderer — or murderers — on the loose in Elysium, disrupting the perfect life of the people within the haven. Some of its own citizens have been felled and grotesquely put on display. The killer is one of us, but who? There are some who have their opinions, but no one who has any evidence. All anyone knows is this isn’t Utopia. Utopia doesn’t exist.

Go ahead, take refuge in the land of Elysium. We promise you'll be safe.

Game Started January 30th, 2009.

After the events of March 29th, 2007 our Heroes are disheartened, spread across the U.S., and quickly losing their numbers. And to make matters worse, one of their own was working up a plan that would sacrifice his peers to better himself. As if that weren't enough, someone is out there with malicious intent toward people who are "special". Someone is hunting and rounding up anyone with abilities. No one knows who the hunter is or where the hunter comes from. And no one knows where their peers are going. Will opposing sides find allies in each other to end this menace, or will they do as they always have and serve only themselves and their own purposes? Only time will tell... and time is something they're running out of.

HeroesFugitives will parallel Volume 4 of the series starting from March 30th, 2007 (after episode 3.13 Dual) and run in real time. We will be mostly AU from there, but will incorporate some of the events that take place in the rest of season 3 with our game.

Hello there! I play the Tenth Doctor. I'm really most interested in small group play, or a private storyline. Now, I love the Rose and Ten pairing to death, but I'm actually looking for something a bit different. As far as PSLs go, I would really enjoy playing with a

Martha Jones or Donna Noble. It can be AU, or just set during their series on a new adventure, or whatever - I'm pretty flexible!
Jenny - she's bound to find him again one day! 
Professor River Song: so many possibilities 
Sally Sparrow - also possibly the new companion, or an AU SL?

Crossover characters welcome, too! Thought it would be fun to play with someone from Buffy/Angel, Firefly/Serenity, Twilight, Harry Potter or other fandoms!

Have you ever imagined what it would be like to wake up one morning and be completely lost?

Imagine that you go to sleep one night and wake up the next morning not where you were supposed to be. All that you have with you is the clothes you were wearing when you fell asleep and perhaps your pillow or blanket, if you are lucky. Confused, you lift your head up to see that it is a beautiful morning. Not a cloud in the sky and the sun is already dazzling. As you clear the sleep from your eyes, certain things start to stand out. You are alone, in a vast field. There is a gentle breeze blowing through the grass. The purple grass. You've never seen grass like that before and as you blink through the bright, nearly white light of the sun you notice the treeline and think that you've never seen trees and vegitation quite like that before either. In a panic you jump up, you run. You run and run and maybe even call out. Call for help. The only thing that answers is the rustle of small animals in the brush, the scatter of brightly coloured birds unlike any you've ever seen before.

Before long you tire yourself out. You keep moving until you are exhausted, you give in to fear. Maybe even sit down to cry. This gives you time to think. How did this happen to you? What happened last night? How did you end up in this strange, strange place so far from home? Unfortunately, nothing at all comes to you. It isn't until that strange white sun starts to sink below the trees that you hear them. In the distance, a strange laughing. No, it's not laughing but it is some kind of animal call. They are large, and there are more than a couple of them. They are moving your way, following the scent of your sweat, you're fear.

The only thing that you know then is that whatever they are, you don't want them to find you.

And then: "Hey," someone says from the brush, barely a whisper. "Hey, over here."

You look and find the face of someone just as dirty, clad in pajamas and wearing a lap blanket like a cape over their shoulders. It's dirty as well. They gesture for you to follow and more than anything else, you are so relieved. You've been found, and whatever has happened, at least you aren't alone anymore.

The Field is a game that explores how a group deals with fear, most especially fear of the unknown. It's a game of survivalism starring every likely and unlikely type of person imaginable. Terror, sadness, joy and possibly even friendship and pride are possible in this game. There are no frills and flashy graphics here, just solid storytelling, drama and explorations into character development.

After a near-apocalyptic nuclear disaster, our group of survivors leaves its native Los Angeles for the promised land of the east coast. Rumors have told of a land of lush, fertile soil, blue skies, and clean water. But to get there, we will have to pass through nature's deadliest elements, avoid radioactive fallout, and witness the worst of humanity. Not to mention the creatures that seem to be picking our band apart, smaller and smaller. We live in fear, and survive on hope - but who brought these stories of a new life in the East in the first place? And even if we do manage to find it, what will we do when we get there? The Fruitful Project

Original Character. Future. Arranged Marriage. 17 & Up.

In the year 2010 the world was plagued by the full effect of Global Warming. No country was spared and no one could imagine the speed in which it came. Within months entire cities were underwater, drier than deserts, or completely leveled. Thousands died and there was no end in sight. Many lost hope until 2020 when the Eden Project was founded.

The Eden Project was a last ditch effort by the human race. Surviving scientists came up with a chemical, a gas called 'Eden' that would hopefully cool the atmosphere enough to put a stop to the catastrophes happening around the world. Slowly but surely the temperature began to drop and the storms slowed. In the time between the beginning of the storms to the launch of the Eden Project, the world population had dropped from nearly seven billion to a little below five.

It was another six years before the effect of the 'Eden' chemical was known.

It began in 2028. There were suddenly less children being born and by the end of 2029, pregnancies stopped all together. The men and women of the world were now completely sterile. It was soon discovered that the Eden chemical was the cause of the sterilization, that the one thing that had saved the world had also doomed it to an inevitable ending, the population destined to dwindle down to nothing.
In 2048 a solution was found

The same lab that developed the Eden project has been working for the past nineteen years to reverse the devastating effects without destroying the now near perfect atmosphere of Earth. The Fruitful project was a serum, a cure that reversed the sterilization but only in people below the age of thirty.

The Global Government is taking a drastic step to increase the population. The Governments of the world began to administer the serum by administering it to everyone as a vaccine at doctor's appointments. To further insure that the population will continue to grow and to 'usher in a new era of life', a global law has been put into place. A marriage law. The Fruitful Law.

Every healthy, non-married person between the ages of nineteen and twenty-nine are to be married, whether by choice or by Government selection. The couple will have a one year period at the most after their marriage to conceive.

The Fruitful project is for the betterment of our world. Who will be your match?

The year is 2001... and almost everything has been restored back to normalcy in the wizarding world that we all knew and loved. Everyone has finally moved on since they left school. The dead has been mourned and people have begun their new lives. New jobs, new relationships, new social circles. London is the perfect place to spend your life. In the center of London, the witches and wizards that have left Hogwarts reside peacefully and fit into the daily hustle and bustle of London life. Many have moved on to find jobs amongst the muggle life of those who surround them.

London is a cosmopolitan city offering a number of diverse neighborhoods and pubs, impressive architecture, efficient public transportation, picturesque parks, world-class shopping and easy access to all major European cities. London also has unbelievable traffic congestion, outrageous prices and questionable weather. There's something for everyone!

A loud bang was heard in the ministry of magic, the sound piercing through many of the corridors, but it was loudest in the Atrium. There was not only the craking in this hallway, but also a piercing light and a great wind that seemed to originate from the very middle of the corridor. The gust of wind was strong enough to knock anyone in the hall off of their feet and back towards the walls. Thus, when the gust, and light, and crack had disappeared, a lone figure was kneeling against the polished dark wood floor. Long dark hair fell, concealing the face of the woman who knelt there, a slender arm outreached, hand pressed against the floor ahead of her. The gown she wore was unusual, in more than the mere fact she wore a gown.

The fabric and style were much more reminicent of a time long gone than any current fashion would suggest. Before any others could regain their foot, the woman lifted her head, eyes searching the room around her. And then, gracefully, she rose to a full standing position, a smile coming to her lips. She ignored the confused gazes and in the silence that had fallen, spoke. Her voice was clear, and the smile remained. "Morning to you all. Tell me, what year is this?"

The year is 2009. The wizarding world has been at peace for nearly eleven years, since the fall of the terrible Lord Voldemort. The infamous trio have all gotten married, had children, and moved on with their lives. That was, until the appearance of the mysterious Morgana le Fay.

No one is sure of Morgana's intentions, nor the how or why that brought her to the future. The history books all say that she was Merlin's greatest enemy, but she's saying otherwise. Is she really there to help, or does she have something more sinister in mind?

But Morgana isn't the only problem. All over the globe, strange things are happening. People who were thought to be dead are popping up in the places that they died. C reatures, both magical and non, that were thought to be extinct are starting to show up all over the place.

Shards of Time is a present day, post-war Harry Potter RPG, seeking dedicated and talented writers to fill important roles for both living characters, and those returning from beyond the grave.

Children of the Millennia is a role-playing game based on The Vampire Chronicles series by Anne Rice. It takes place after the novel Merrick in the present day, 2009, in New York City and portions of the world beyond. All living characters found in the books (including some those who may have been involved in Akasha's massacre in The Queen of the Damned, if there could be some excuse given for their survival) are available for play.

"….Voldemort's powerful now. You don't know who his supporters are, you don't know who's working for him and who isn't; you know he can control people so that they do terrible things without being able stop themselves. You're scared for yourself, and your family, and your friends. Every week, news comes of more deaths, more disappearances, more torturing … The Ministry of Magic's in disarray, they don't know what to do, they're trying to keep everything hidden from the Muggles, but meanwhile, Muggles are dying too. Terror everywhere … panic … confusion …"

Across Europe the Wizarding Community lies in fear. Voldemort and his followers are on the rise, leaving behind a reign of terror in their wake. As his numbers increase, Wizards begins to grow more uneasy, increasingly choosing to fall prey to his Empire, out of fear, unwilling to stand up and fight.

In spite of the increasing danger, a small group of vigilante Wizards has begun to pull ranks, daring to do what the Ministry fears to do; fight. The Order of the Phoenix is slowly growing into a force to be reckoned with, threatening not only Voldemort, but the Ministry itself.

Change is on the brink and the students of Hogwarts. No longer will they be safe behind the confines of the castle, unaware to the real dangers of the world. They will soon be forced to make their own loyalties known; a decision that will affect not only the rest of their lives, but the entire Wizarding World.

Amongst the darkness, these students are potentially the light needed to give the Order the man power to take on Voldemort’s forces. As both sides fight to gain support, one question lies: which side do you choose?

BEGINNING MARCH 15TH

It's 1980 and the first war is escalating. Voldemort is slowly taking over all aspects of magical life; he is systematically knocking out important ministry figures in his quest to deter Millicent Bagnold's campaign for Minister of Magic, and plotting the demise of key radicals in the Order of the Phoenix, Dumbledore's agitating, underground society. But something is changing. A new prophecy is being crafted by someone who has seen how Voldemort's campaign will tear the world apart and destroy the lives of those fighting against him. Will they re-shape the war to a better end, or simply delay what they are trying to prevent? Maybe an ill wind is blowing nobody any good.

PREMISE

You wake up to the smell of smoke.


In the year 2008, a virus swept North America. Ever vigilant for a pandemic, citizens boarded up their windows, stockpiled their canned goods, and turned their neighbors in to the CDC. Short wave radios fell off the shelves, evacuation routes were prepared. Gas masks and specialty filtration systems were distributed. Pills were available for those showing early symptoms. Pills that did not work. That were later replaced with cyanide as their active ingredient. For those who were brave enough to put their fingers near a loved one's mouth. The United States, Canada, Mexico, the virus swept down into South America and festered in the heat of the jungle. In some places it burned out. Superstition ruled and saved lives. But nothing stopped the virus.

You wake up to the crackle of dead airwaves.


Three months after the first diagnosed case of Currere Excessum was recorded, NATO approved Great Britain's use of nuclear force against the United States. It was assumed that all organic material would be reduced to ash under the impact. It was assumed that the Quarantine of the Americas would be temporary, at best. Any who survived the blast would be given the highest in humanitarian attention and medical care. The only American emissaries who knew of the plan lay incinerated in Washington. The Quarantine continued. The Americas lay abandoned. Empty.

The world of Repo is not a place to enter lightly. Its dripping alleyways, impoverished and surgery addicted populace, its z sluts and graverobbers and Geneco royalty--they will not treat you lightly. But, on the plus side, when the day you run out of money is the day a man and black cuts you open to take your liver back, you tend to worry less about the little things.
 
Genetic Opera is a canon and original character roleplaying game set in the world of Repo! The Genetic Opera after the end of the film. You can apply for a canon character or create one of your own tailored to fit in the world. Who do you want to be? A gentern? A repoman? Or just an innocent citizen, trying to stay off Z and scrape by in a dead-end job while paying your organ financing bills? Who you are is up to you, but be advised--one wrong move could put you under the knife, no matter who you are.

Welcome to Revolve
After the death of Charles Xavier, Revolve became the home for all mutants, whether they like it or not. Stripped of their rights, fitted with collars and powers suppressed until their matches, life on Revolve is difficult and rigid.
