However you came across it, it finally found you. Just the book you always needed. It was a cute book. All pink flowers and rainbows. Joyous and warm. Just the book you always wanted. It was a dark book. Black leather and silver buckles to strap it shut. It exuded mystery and terror. Just the book for you. Your diary is unique to you. You're drawn to it's blank pages yearning to be filled up with the days of your life. But you're more than just drawn to the diary. The pages flip as if of their own accord and there is a page with a picture, moving as if it were it's own tiny film. You're intrigued. And then you're falling. It feels like you fall forever, through stars and clouds and darkness and then you can see nothing because you blank out. You find yourself on the docks of a strange island. A place you've never seen before, and it's silent except for the wind whistling in your ears and the lap of waves on slippery rocks. Perhaps in the distance you see a far-off ship on the horizon, but otherwise you are alone and stranded, diary in hand. You have come to Accardi. You are here to stay. |

BloodGame tracks the lives of two anarchistic rival motorcycle gangs. The first group, Alameda County Aces of Apocalypse, has been around for more than three decades, establishing and securing their power all over the West Coast. However, after the betrayal of one member, the group stumbled enough to fall hard - and was ultimately burnt to the ground. A rival group sprung up from the ground and lead by former members gone rogue called the San Joaquin Skinners. They were better than they ever had been before with the Aces, and they assumed their previous family to be dead. Unfortunately for the Skinners, the Aces were still alive and burning with only a few embers to their name. The Aces' vengeance has only increased, and as time went by, they began to rebuild themselves. Neither one is willing to allow the other to take over and covet their accumulated power. But the real question is, who will survive in their bloodthirsty lifestyles? This game collaborates the workings of the unique club member, each with their own personal evils as well as values. However, it also introduces the lives of the rookies, the members in training, and their relationships with their superiors and the world around them as they are educated and broken. What began as a silly little prank among friends has ended up as a school wide fad. A few ambitious Gryffindors decided that since they were unable to find dates to the Halloween Ball, they would create a journal were they could post 'single ads'. This journal was accesible by any female or male in seventh year and served as an anonymous way for girls and boys to 'hook-up'. A Slytherin who wished to remain anonymous has taken the idea on step further. He set up a service where for two galleons anyone could send in their ad and have it open for response from anyone from the four houses. He assigned each person a codename that they could use when responding and required that the users only contact each other anonymously in the ad journal until the springtime when he is planning a revealing ball when everyone who spoke in the ads could meet face to face. He calls himself 'Romeo". When Minerva McGonagall, the current headmaster, finds out about the journal ad service, she consults the teachers at Hogwarts. It is concluded that while inappropriate on so many levels, it is fostering a sense of togetherness. It is bringing together students from rival houses. Every decision we make closes as many doors as it opens. But regardless of what paths we choose, and what paths we do not, Time flows onwards. Just as a frayed cord has many strands, each person exists in different divergent Timestreams, all stemming from the Main Timestream of the temporal flow. Outside of the Timestreams, there is the Nexus, where people arrive when they are plucked from the main thread of their lives at decisive points - days they die, start new jobs, etc., and there they remain as their lives continue in the Main Timestream. People are grouped their with those from similar times so people from different eras do not clash. For each group, the Nexus looks like a familiar location. With only the knowledge of their lives up to that point, they meet friends and family, lovers or enemies, masters or servants - other souls who must adjust to life outside of Time. Sometimes, these meetings bring joy. Sometimes they bring sorrow. But always, they bring opportunities. How you use those opportunities is up to you. 'Trip the Rift' is a journal-based RP set in the Harry Potter fandom, restricted to those characters who were born between the years 1800 and 2050 AD. Players have the freedom to pick the precise moment their characters arrive at the Nexus, which is patterned after a large city dating from the period. But with that choice comes a consequence. Each character will only know their history up to that point. Pick someone towards the end of his or her life, and that character will know much more about people, places, and events than a contemporary who arrives at a much younger age. For example, if you chose to play Regulus Black and you had him arrive at the Nexus before he decided to betray Voldemort, he would be a loyal Death Eater. He wouldn't know anything about his actions with respect to the Horcrux, and he would be shocked to learn he had defied the Dark Lord. Or, let's say you chose to play Hermione Granger, and you had her arrive at the Nexus several days after the birth of her daughter, Rose. She would not know that she had another child afterwards. How will they react to learning about the deeds committed by their 'main Timestream' selves? Will they embrace family and friends they meet for the first time, or will they shy away from them, since they're effectively strangers? Will enemies still be enemies if only one of the parties knows what the others have done? The answers to those questions, and more, are up to you.
