So, apparently my agent Catherine signed me up to do a reading and some signing up the upcoming book fair at Hogwarts. I'm happy to, of course, and I love visiting the castle, but apparently the big deal about the whole thing is that a bunch of Quidditch pros have signed up to join the thing, too, to get the kids excited, and my agent has no idea who might be there. So I'm heading into this big celebrity experience with no clue who else will be taking part, it's really frustrating! Also: I'm so not a celebrity by pro athlete standards and so I'm sore of confused why they want me there at all?
I hope there are more fiction authors. And I heard there might be some celebrity chefs there with their books, so that would be cool.
Any friends going? It's December 2nd, all afternoon between lunch and dinner in the Great Hall and it's open to the magical public, too. Come keep me company?!

What: Oh dear. Charlotte has a truly awful idea. You should all definitely talk her out of it

As I've been striving to reenter the wizarding social sphere, I have found that the participation in the Hogwarts School Choir has more than a little lackluster of late, and, as such, have decided that my time-- and all of yours, too-- will be best served helping out the community in order to bring awareness to our Frog Choir.
I will admit, I may have gotten the idea from elsewhere, but, not wanting to be upstaged, I've decided that we ought to follow in those footsteps and put on an STD Fair at Hogwarts. We can compose songs about STD awareness and promote the Frog Choir at the same time! I'm sure that Professor Flitwick will think it's a fantastic idea, as well. We certainly don't want those impressionable young Hogwarts students to fall into the terrifying perils and pitfalls of adolescent sexuality without being properly informed!

All this chilly weather really makes me long for summer, or at the very least somewhere warm. Before I left Andrew learned how to properly swim and, as his owls have mentioned, has been swimming every day after school. I have to envy him. Jen also sent photos of the last time we all went swimming; I'm so happy she was able to get the magical film and find the proper developer for it.
