It's been a week! Well, a week and a day, but I have a feeling my love of schedules is going to be very tried now taht the twins are in the world. They're growing well, though they're still terribly tiny in my eyes. I keep getting told that I'll treasure the day, but honestly I think I'll be happiest when they're a bit bigger so I'll worry a little less. I'm pretty sure they're/we're in the hospital for another week, at least.
The pregnancy chart says taht this Saturday they'd be the size of pineapples. You know, pineapples are much smaller than you'd think. But not nearly a cute as what I have.
Thank you to everyone for the messages and visits and gifts and everything this week. You've kept me sane. The babies are a lot of work, but if you know me, you know me and hospitals. And also me and nothing to do. Even if the hospital TV did show another rerun of Confessions that I could mainline in between feedings. So ready for another season.
For once, I can thank my insomnia for giving me experience with waking often and not having enough rest.
Baby update aside. Anyone have anything fun to tell me?
