Vas Captio OOC

Hey everybody,

Hope here. WOW it has been a long time. I just wanted to drop in a little status update on me and my kids. Things have been super shitty here. My dad has been in and out of the hospital since the end of June, and things aren't looking very good. But, life goes on.

I've decided to drop Tinker Bell, but I am going to keep Laura Moon. As such, if anyone would love to plot with Laura, since I see there are lots of new faces, please let me know. I'm up for almost anything.

Modly powers that be, I would still like to be considered on hiatus because I am not certain that I will be able to meet the thread / journal entry requirements, and I know I wouldn't be able to do an experiment justice at the moment. My posting is going to be on a "hey, I'm on the computer, let me get some VC stuff in," and that isn't fair to an experiment buddy. If that's okay, I would really appreciate it.

Okay, so this week has sucked with RL stuff, but I'm trying to get back on track. Without too many gory details, I started work this week, so that's been kicking my butt, and I had a bit of an accident that's going to require some dental surgery tomorrow.

I am going to catch up on my posting tonight. I don't know if it's possible, but are we allowed to retcon threads for different parts of Day 10? If not, I'll make due for posting for the night. Laura was in her case in the drug / liquor store in the morning, and I am planning on inserting her in there for the afternoon earthquake. Does anyone want to join her there, and does anyone want to do anything for the night?

Tink was last seen in the graveyard when the earthquake hit, and I'm not sure what to do with her at night. So, I'm open.

I will be around tomorrow afternoon unless the Novocaine and minor anesthesia kicks my butt. I'm not expecting it to be too bad. Anyone waiting on me, expect a post to the thread tonight.

Edit: Laura can be found trapped in the remnants of the pharmacy / liquor store here. The place is probably going to blow up without much agitation, and while she can survive a fire, she'd really love somebody to help her out. If not, she'll drag her own corpse to freedom. She needs to find L!

Characters needing evening threads, in order of severity of their injuries:

1. L- Currently has a shovel lodged in his side. He was discovered by Jean (who is concussed, burned, and otherwise battered up) and he is very scared and very aware that he might die. I'd advertise for cheering and cuddles, but honestly, he just wants a doctor, Laura, and a whole lot of morphine.
2. Rorschach- Has a concussion and cuts and bruises. He's currently threading with Merope at the clock tower, but by this evening he'll have carried Merope to the gym and then collapsed in a random place.
3. Edward- One of his legs broke off in the theater. Gambit was hanging onto it, last time I checked, but he's pretty cheerful about the whole thing. Anyone skilled with medicine or machinery could probably get it back on for him.
4. Derek Zoolander- He has suffered an acute broken nail and some incidental trauma. He needs a manicure immediately. Or just to whine for one until someone bitch-slaps him.

As always, bandwagoning. I'm dashing in really quickly -- it's Tony night and the ONLY night I do anything with awards shows. I'm a theatre person and it's our tradition to go to my old director's, eat a ton of food and watch 'em. So will be home asap, and I'll be able to periodically check my phone tonight too. w00t for internet on phone.

As always, plottings too. *g* I'm tagging everything outstanding before I leave shortly -- just wanted to get this up! :^D And too -- we should have all the Doctors get together at some point. And House won't at ALL try and turn them into his minions so he doesn't have to work.

Hello everybody. ^_^ Just wanted to try to get some Day 10 plottage in order.

Laura, as stated yesterday, is in need of a doctor with a very strong stomach to stitch her together. Anyone up for it? The only problem is that she's very hesitant to come out in weather like this, so she might need the doctor to make a house call, and she'll probably complain if they're not super speedy.

Other than her doctor's appointment, Laura will be in her cooler in the Drug/Liquor store. If anybody feels like stumbling upon her corpse, I'm open to that, as well.

As for Tinker Bell, her Day 10 schedule is completely open and she's up for just about anything. Anyone?

Whee, new day new plots!

Watanuki didn't do much on Day 9. He's at the museum but he might get out and go looking for Domeki.
I'm still unsure of where Granny spent the night (the Doctor asked her about lodgings so maybe she ended up in the museum as well? but she's an early riser and might be anywhere before midday.

Let me know if you want to thread with either of them, especially those threads that got mentioned but never happened (Watanuki/Shannon, Watanuki/Tonks, etc.)

Also: Tink-mun, are you okay with dropping the Watanuki/Tinkerbell thread from Day 5?

Laura seems to be all set for Day 9 as she has to spend the day in a cooler, but Tink could use some plotting. I think it would be kinda nifty if she could meet someone new and expand her horizons a bit. If anyone's interested, let me know. I'm up for pretty much anything. Thanks!

Hey guys. Hope here. I'm a little too lazy to switch to Laura's journal at the moment.

For those of us in the body finding thread at the Clock Tower at dawn, of which there are quite a few, please keep in mind that we cannot move the body. An OOC request has been made to leave it where it is so that Andy and Sam can find it. Laura will not allow anyone to touch it or interact with it at this time, so be ready to try to get through the dead woman and lose. Thanks!

Hey everybody! Hope all is well.

I just wanted to let you all know that there's an anime convention this weekend, and I will be there. Unfortunately, there's no internet access where I will be staying. I will be gone until Sunday night. If I owe you a post in anything, I will get on it as soon as possible upon my return. I look forward to coming back! :) Lucky for me, Day 8 will still be going on.

If anybody's up for any plotting upon my return, let me know.
