Two notes for all of you today :)

First of all, as Day Eight has been so hectic and busy, we'll be extending it for one more week. Some of you can feel free to breathe again ;)

Second, even though the day is being extended, everyone is still subject to their activity requirements per week. So, since activity check will take place tomorrow night and it's been requested that we give a heads up, here it is. Those listed below the cut will be considered inactive if the required posts aren't up by 11:59pm EST tomorrow night.

This week and next, we'll be listing names and what is owed. After that, we will give a 24 hour notice only. It is your responsibility to keep track of your own characters' activity. Things get too hectic for us as mods to keep track of everyone's activity for anything other than the official activity check and it is, after all, your responsibility given the rules you've all agreed to by applying into the game. So, that said, we won't be giving activity check heads ups for long, because we, too, have our own characters' activity to worry about and keep track of. Hopefully, you all can understand where we're coming from.

Those on the exempt list, obviously, can feel free to disregard the list below the cut entirely.

Martha Jones Characters may or may not find a body which may or may not actually belong to Doctor Martha Jones in the forest. Once again, the body has been mauled past the point of identification and this time is buried beneath the snow.

Weather Forecast

63° and partly cloudy with scattered rain showers throughout the morning, giving way to sunny skies and a high of 67°. At night, clear skies and a low of 55°. As the snow begins to melt, some of the lower level buildings may find a bit of flooding as the water seeps in under doorways or through cracks in the foundations. This is not necessarily true for all buildings, as some have been build more recently and sturdily than others.

Experiments

There are still plenty of deer, small woodland animals, and many Weevils roaming the forest (The Weevils, only at night, sleeping during the day). Players are allowed only one exemption per character. After your replies are received, you will be given the details of the experiment. Group Experimentation At any point in Day Eight, any character whether tapped in the list above or not, may be tagged on a post. If your character is tagged by an NPC, you must reply, with no exceptions. This is a full game experiment and those tapped have no choice but to join in; any other characters may or may not be pulled into the fray by those listed above.

Inventory

In the woods, there is a new building. Dean Winchester has described it in his journal here. While it has been added to the official map, bear in mind that it will not be included on Cheryl Mason's map here, so currently the only characters who know where this building's exact location lies are Dean Winchester and anyone with whom he has shared this information. Two five pound bags of rock salt can be found in the gas station, now.

Also, one more little note - can we please keep OOC comments out of the RPG? On the journals, it's fine, but for future reference, please use the OOC community or the contact list to send emails for OOC comments on game threads. That's what it's there for, after all :)

Our apologies for putting up the activity check a few days late; time got away from us a little.

This is an unofficial warning, because after looking over the exact wording of the rules in place, we did not specify that characters needed to journal and participate in a thread each week. The rule, however, is being altered as such, so next week's activity check list will be considered an official first warning.

As this day change had been extended an extra week, there was a lot more to look at for activity and if you feel your character is on the missing activity list in error, please comment below to let us know. We're only human...we make mistakes as well. Comments are screened for your privacy and will be replied to via email if necessary to avoid comments coming unscreened in the process of reply.

In other news...we now have a playable NPC account, should anyone want to use it to control threats in the experiments list on day changes. We will add icons of said threats and players using the NPC account will be expected to use the appropriate icon when playing. For example, currently there is an icon for a Weevil, should anyone want to play the Weevil or Weevils in a thread with a playable character already in the game. Please just make sure you're familiar enough with the threat in question to play them (and remember, not all of them will actually speak). The account is vc_player_npc and the password is bringiton, so have a blast with that y'all :) There is a separate NPC account for mods - if you see that one around, you'll know it's us.
