Vas Captio OOC

Hey everybody,

Hope here. WOW it has been a long time. I just wanted to drop in a little status update on me and my kids. Things have been super shitty here. My dad has been in and out of the hospital since the end of June, and things aren't looking very good. But, life goes on.

I've decided to drop Tinker Bell, but I am going to keep Laura Moon. As such, if anyone would love to plot with Laura, since I see there are lots of new faces, please let me know. I'm up for almost anything.

Modly powers that be, I would still like to be considered on hiatus because I am not certain that I will be able to meet the thread / journal entry requirements, and I know I wouldn't be able to do an experiment justice at the moment. My posting is going to be on a "hey, I'm on the computer, let me get some VC stuff in," and that isn't fair to an experiment buddy. If that's okay, I would really appreciate it.

It is with great sadness I inform you that I'll be dropping GLaDOS. I love her; but between picking up the added Mod responsibilities and my job inploding, I just don't have time for her. She'll miss you all as much as I'm sure she'll be missed. 

May you all eat cake :-)

I have to apologize, but I just can no longer get my head into the game. And so, sadly, I’ll be leaving the game entirely. Sad because I really love the players here, and the often hilarious interactions. But, I’ll have to shelve Kaylee and Luna once more, and say my goodbyes.

So, here we have Doctor Leonard Horatio "Bones" McCoy. Chief Medical Officer of the Starship Enterprise. He hasn't started his five year mission yet, but he has managed to retain his snarkyness.

Plotting encouraged. People I've never played with doubly so.

Since we had four departures for this day change, the tags on any One on One Threads including those characters as one of the two have been changed to !dropped, !incomplete. If you are in a group thread with one or more of those characters and would like to drop those threads, please discuss with the other people in those threads and comment here with a link to said thread so that we can change the tags for you.

On that note, a personal note rather than switching accounts and bogging down the flists:

Lia, Di, Jenny and Artemis: Would it be possible to drop our group thread from the clone!Jack saga? I'm not sure I can bring him back to life anymore.

After much back and forth about it, I've decided I can't continue here at Vas. Not at the moment, anyway. I'm suffering from a huge disconnect with Anders of late as well as overwhelm from characters who are for one reason or another unavailable here. Its annoying and I really wish I had the want to continue with Anders because he has been fun, but I don't see that spark coming back in a timely fashion. :(

I really have loved being here, but until I can find a muse that will work for me, I'm going to have to step down. :(

Go ahead and count Light as missing. I dunno, he disappeared while making his map or something. I can't keep up with this RP right now. It's too fast.

Unfortunately I have to say good bye. I don't have internet in my house, and it doesn't look like I will be getting it any time soon. My new 3-11 shift, which is great for me personally, leaves me little time to play on line any more. So I'm very bummed by the fact that I have to quit, but I guess that's life.

So to every one I played with, thanks! You made my time here at Vas great, to those I never got the chance to play with- I'm sorry! I really wish I could have!

I have really enjoyed my time playing on this site and like I said I really wish I didn't have to quit. But it's not fair to you guys if I tried to stay. I wouldn't be able to post, and I wouldn't be able to keep up.

So with a heavy heart I say good bye. Poor Martha Jones is doomed to die. :(
