There's so much more music in this world than I ever could have imagined. I'm not even sure where to begin.

[Note and gift left for Achilles in the morning]

I apologise for leaving so early but you looked far too peaceful to wake at an hour before the sun had even risen.

I purchased this for you just a day ago. I wanted to find a lyre but found it very difficult to find one that I could afford within the amount of money I currently have. However, I did find this! It is almost like a kithara and I would have no hope but you are a musical genius. I am sure you will make something beautiful of it before long.

What kind of tunes are you into? I'm something of a music aficionado and shit. Got a whole vintage record collection back home and if it ever shows up here I might pee myself with joy, but that's just an aside.

I think I know what you are asking Admittedly, I do not really know. I have listened to a few songs that were recommended but none of them sounded familiar at all to me in the same sense that the city feels so far away from the home I knew. It was very... electronic, I believe the term is?

No problem. If you like the sound of electronic stuff, I can work with that. I guess also - do you like slow songs, romantic ones that hit you in the feels, fast songs, ones that make you want to dance?

I was gonna put together a playlist for you, like Atreus mentioned below. Except this one will be yooooours.

Do you remember mornings back in Phthia when I would awake before you and go to speak with my mother or go to a lesson and leave you to sleep? I always would watch you sleep then, sometimes only for a minute if time was short, but I would always sit beside your pallet. I do not know if I ever told you.

I love the instrument that you left. I have been plucking at it all morning. When you return I will play you something.

Of course I remember. I used to wake when you left but eventually I simply slept through it and knew you would return later in the morning.

I was so worried you might not. Is it similar at all to the lyre?

Beyoncé. She seems to be referred to as royalty, is this correct? Queens are also famous musicians, sometimes?

Not long after I arrived, a friend of mine made me a playlist. I enjoy a lot of the music of this world - a lot of it - but that one's kind of special to me because she's not here anymore and it was something I know she enjoyed. I'm happy to pass it along to you to share that?

I would not like to take away from something that is special to you if you do not wish to but I would certainly listen if it is something you would like to share with me. I am not used to having music available at all times to me.

If you go around to some of the local clubs you can listen to all sorts of music, from jazz to pop to other stuff. It's a nice way to get a feel for everything and help out the local businesses.

The music I'm most familiar with is jazz from around the time I was born.

This is one of the songs I could find on youtube. If you like it, I can find more?

I have never heard instruments like those before. I do not know whether it is my favourite style of new music, but it is certainly interesting.

This is similar to something we would have heard, although this is not celebration music as such.

BLINK-182!!!!! They're my favorite! You can find all their albums on their youtube!!! :) I missed a few of them cause I was dead, but they are still awesome! :)

But Green Day and No Doubt and Lit are also good. And I found this band called The Killers which are good. There's a lot of good music, though.

I suppose it does depend on the arrangement. I like gentle instruments better than a cacophony of noise but singing can work in any situation if it is good enough.
