Out of curiosity, have the ghosts dissipated, then? I haven't seen any myself, but it hasn't stopped me from being a bit wary whenever I turn corners or enter rooms so I wouldn't mind being able to relax that particular hypervigilance for a while.

The last handful of months have flown by so quickly, I was genuinely surprised when I realized how close it's become to the end of the semester and the year itself. Our years are shorter back home and the months and celebrations are similar, yet different. I think that not having a Harvest's Close festival in the streets of Whitestone or getting to go to Emon to see the bonfires for Civilization's Dawn like I did last year just sort of makes things meld together. I've enjoyed seeing new festivities and traditions here, but I've missed some of the ones from home. I miss a lot from home, but

However, Winter's Crest does seem to have some similarities to the Christmas that I've seen some talk about on the network, so that is something to look forward to! I have to like a holiday that gives me an added excuse to buy gifts for friends.

I actually really love buying gifts for other people? But I can't for the life of me keep it to myself until I'm supposed to gift it. What a trait for someone of my career, being so completely unable to keep a gift a secret.

I think it's charming -- to be able to keep all of your military and government secrets, but want to spill when it comes to something that might make a loved one happy.

Charming, she says. I will absolutely take that compliment. My friends always made fun of me for it. In good nature, of course.

She does and she stands by charming. I understand that drive entirely, though. I enjoy spoiling people too much to keep things to myself but so much.

I'm glad we're in good company.

I wish you could meet them, though. These terrible friends of mine.

I wish that I could, too. Very much.
