Black-armored helmet that doesn't look very practical.

A leather bracer, well made.

I've tracked him a little, but if he's yours, he might not take off running? Do you want me to show you where?

That's good. He's a lot friendlier once you get to know him. He also licks people. It can be weird at first.

Sort of. I'm half jötunn, which is a race of giants. They can take all shapes and forms, some of them are really really large and take the shape of animals, like Jörmungandr. My mother was a frost giant and looked just like a mortal woman, and my father is just [...] large without being a giant. I took after them in looks, but one of my jötnar abilities is that I can shapeshift. Or maybe it's part of my other god abilities. I've never been sure!

That sounds a little like my family's connection to dragons, but not the same. Can you change your shape to look like him?

If I had to guess. He might find he prefers independence once he gets a little older. I've never raised anything before.
