Huge thanks to everyone who helped tackle trying to get our sudden spacecraft up and talking to us yesterday. Been a while since I've gotten to do that whole thing, was kind of nice. Sadly we didn't get much out of it before a small fire erupted (that was not my fault thank you very much, Shiro). But uh - notes I guess if anyone was curious!

• So far no one has claimed it as something they recognize from their world.
• Which makes sense because what we did find points to having been in Vallo, at least a Vallo.
• There's directional mentions to some standard stuff but one to "THE FOREST" which we couldn't tell if that was something in the ship at one point or pointing towards a waypoint type thing like we have.
• We managed to get a message from the comms system before the fire:
This is Captain Alarie, Vorerra Squadron, requesting immediate assistance from Starship V.A.L.L.O. in— The rest was lost.
• Black lugged the ship back to the Castle of Lions so if anyone wants to scope it out or keep doing some work just hit us up!
• There were no signs of alien monster eggs or identity thieving slimes.
• Keith finally stopped crying tears of joy.
• Nevermind.

	Wait, why am I only a backup plan? Wow. I'm not saying don't try, just don't have high expectations. Either they know what is going on and it's not good and they won't tell us. Or they know nothing and probably still wont' tell us. We need a plan. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

No. IF this is actually the Vorerra that exists here being in the space that exists here and having hidden it for, well, ever, we have no idea what that means. How big of a fleet do they have? Enough for a starship with a squadron at the least. We have two lions and can't even break atmo. We can't fight off an army if it came to that.

Yes.

We've also never tried to get the Castle to transform, and it needs a pilot.

I think we need to go back over all the monitoring the Castle has done, see if we missed something. If there really is a whole bunch of space exploration happening something would have been picked up. Test if we can break atmo again, see if anything's changed. Talk to the DOA and see if anyone has coven contacts that might have had reactions to this ship showing up yesterday, or have heard anything from the Vorerra end.

How would you feel if we tried to work on that? There's three of us and Black doesn't necessarily need two pilots.

I'll start working on parsing the monitoring, I'm off shift for a couple of days now anyway. Want to help? I can ask Shiro to talk to the DOA about the contacts and see what that nets us.

Then we can spend some time testing our flight limits again.

We probably should have done this awhile ago. I'd feel better knowing if we could pilot shuffle if ever needed and also it would make easier to kidnap everyone we like to space if the Castle was space ready. Can you imagine trying to fit Atreus' menagerie of animals in Red and Black?

I'll start brewing more of that the the rocket fuel coffee after we get the extinguisher foam cleaned up in the ship.

	We never really had a need to before. But if we had to, it'd be about the only thing capable of getting everyone here off planet. Teludav wouldn't be an option though, no wormholes. I want a life with you and Yrsa and everything else that comes with that. Here, in our home. My last memories of space are... not good. I'd love to make better ones, but when I think about it, it's not long term. It's showing you and Yrsa how big it feels, how strange and beautiful it is to be just one little speck in this vast infinite and then coming home.

It'll balance out. This is probably just weird Vallo shit anyways.
