I have a project (Gretchen, you're going to help with this): recreating the Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster.

According to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, "The best drink in existence is the Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster, the effect of which is like having your brains smashed out with a slice of lemon wrapped round a large gold brick.”

Now accepting suggestions on what the people think goes in that. My first thought was "lemonade and moonshine," but I feel like it also needs to taste good if it's the best drink in existence.

Maybe we're looking at some fruity tasty drink and then you follow it up with a bite out of a lemon wedge.

Or a shot with a lemon wedge chaser.

Bunch of tequila, maybe some triple sec in there to get that citrus going. Was going to suggest grapefruit, but that's getting a bit too Paloma.

Triple sec seems like a good idea. I think it needs to be a drink, not a shot, but that's another thing that I'm basing entirely on vibes, not evidence.

Oh now, maybe instead of the lemon wedge at the end, somehow we do something layered so it's a lemon punch at the end of each sip. Well, until it gets all fucking mixed up, at least.

That would get the color right, but I feel like you'd need several before you're really gargleblasted. Those flavored vodkas are always low proof. We need something that'll put you down in two.
