Guess who just got promoted to projectionist at Starcourt Theatres. (It's me, you don't gotta guess)

Anyway, the manager said I can use one of the screens for a Christmas horror triple header Sunday night, so come by if you wanna. Gotta pay for your own popcorn, but if you mention me they'll let you in without a ticket.

We got Gremlins, where some idiot kid doesn't follow the rules about how to care for his Furby and ends up with a horde of evil monsters.

Following up with Silent Night Deadly Night 2. If you ain't seen the first one, don't worry about it. About half the movie is just flashbacks from the first one. I'm not shitting you. Please pay special attention to the Oscar Worthy talent of Ricky's Eyebrows.

We're capping the night off with Yule Ghoul, which is a Vallo original and apparently is actually kinda spooky, about the ill-fated Umbral Coven that summoned a Yule Ghoul to do their bidding and bit off more than they could chew (but not more than the ghoul could chew, hahaha).

See ya there. Or I won't. Whatever, it ain't my problem.

That does seem perfect for you. What does a projectionist actually do?

You know, loads the film into the projectors. Makes sure the movies start on time, ain't fucking up halfway through, or lighting themselves on fire. It's a lotta just watching movies and making sure everything's going alright once you figure out how all the equipment works.

Well, I don't think more modern theatres still use actual film reels anymore since most shots released digitally, but all the equiptment in my theatre comes from like, the 80s. They're pretty cool though. Big and heavy. I could probably sneak you in sometime, if you wanted to bring by some weed.

Back home everything is really either digital or hologram so film is completely new to me! That sounds like an easy deal to make, though, so consider it done!

Back home was kinda like, half-and-half when I left. Like, it was on its way to transitioning to digital. Holograms sound pretty cool. We didn't have that sorta technology on Earth, but they had like, holographic messages in Heaven.

would be pretty fucking cool to see a whole holographic movie though.

It's like real theater, but with great special effects!
